Ranch sliders from the living area and bifold windows from the large kitchen open out onto a private front deck where you can enjoy alfresco dining and beautiful sunsets. You will get full use of the private 2 storey front part of the house. Upstairs is a bathroom, a large master bedroom with awesome views, 1 bunk bedroom overlooking the village and a bedroom with 2 single beds. Downstairs is a spacious open plan living area and a short hall leads you to another large bedroom which is directly opposite the powder room and separate bathroom. At the back of the house on the ground level there is an apartment attached to the house (fully locked door between) and a separate cabin. This accommodation is occupied by 2 friendly staff from Kuaotunu store who have access to the backyard and back deck and will respect your privacy.
Black Jack House is just a minutes walk to the beautiful Kuaotunu Beach, Luke's Restaurant Cafe and a General Store. Surrounded by spectacular views, native bush walks and located between 2 of the top 10 beaches in the world. Swim in the safe waters of Kuaotunu Beach, play a game of tennis, utilise the nearby boat ramp, fish, surf or enjoy a game of golf.
We are a minutes walk from fully licensed Lukes Kitchen where you can enjoy the local vibe and check out a live gig or a coffee from the coffee shop. Grab an icecream from the store (famous for it's Kuaotunu Killer Icecream). There are also food caravans scattered around during the peak summer season and weekends.
Whitianga is a 15 minute drive away where you may want to pamper yourself at the famous The Lost Springs hot pools and spa.
Further afield and within an hours drive you may like to visit Cathedral Cove with it's beautiful lime rock formations, Hot Water Beach where you can dig a hole in the sand during low tide and wallow in warm water. 25 minutes drive away is the Driving Creek Railway built by local potter Barry Brickell just north of Coromandel township and off the 309 road south of Coromandel township is Waterworks which is a fun day outing where you can look, play and interact with water powered inventions
