Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby fishing spots, but a fishing license is required, which can be conveniently purchased at the local petrol station. If you're up for some kayaking, there's one available for use.

The surrounding natural beauty allows you to wake up to the delightful sounds of birds. If you need to grab a bite or refuel, the nearest cafe, takeaways, and petrol station are just a short 10-minute drive away.

Please note that the 1970's caravan is a 3-berth, suitable for up to 3 people, and guests are required to use the house's bathroom, toilet, shower, and laundry facilities, located close by. It has been thoughtfully renovated with comfortable furniture, including a queen and single bed.

Very quiet down no exit rd. lake view only 30mtrs away In caravan double bed pam very easy to talk too and kitchen and bathroom very tidy nicely lit up at night. Cell coverage isnt the best but workable

Very welcoming

Pam And Nev were very welcoming. It sadly rained the whole of our visit. But we enjoyed our cosy stay in the caravan. We had a everything we needed. Pam and Nev were very knowledgeable about the area and very generous with their time and watermelon. We needed the rest, so the piece and quiet was perfect.

Excellent stay for 2 nights. Actually its a first time experience for all of us in Campervan. Campervan is equipped with all the basic stuff required to spend your whole day. Lovely host Pam and her husband...They are really nice and talkative. They also suggested few places nearby. Location is mesmerizing. Will go again...

The property is right beside the lake, with a beautiful view! perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, walking, and biking, via a forest track that links you to the next lake. The hosts are so nice, offering homemade baking upon your arrival and letting you borrow their kayaks.

I loved the caravan set up colouful and very homely We get baking upon arrival and during I loved the baking so delicious Above all waking up to and sleeping in eyes view of lake from my caravan The best stay ive experienced thus far of accomadation. Pam and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. They were full of great tips for local adventures and offered hours of lake fun for the family with kyaks and life jackets freely avalible. The lake and surroundings were amazing and beautiful. The play ground was a gather point for other kids holidaying on the street and completely safe from speeding traffic and roudy behaviour. Couldnt have picked a more relaxing spot to base our selves whilst enjoying everything fun that Rotorua has to offer. We will be back for sure!

Was a very sweet beautiful place to stay, was a shame the weather wasn't so nice as i know the girls would have loved exploring around all the garden and spotting all the novelty ordainments amongst it. The hosts where very friendly lovely people and communicated quickly when I emailed them. Higley recommended place to stay will happily go again and enjoy during more warmer sunny days. Thank you

We had 2 lovely nights with Pam. This area is so pretty. We were very comfortable in the van. The bed was perfect for myself, hubby and bubba all cosier up. Nice big tv over the bed too. Our toddler just loved the garden and toys. Pam is a great host. We went to the hot springs a few minutes away which is definitely the best value we have seen on our trip. There’s a selection of tea / coffee / hot chocolate with a jug of milk in the fridge on arrival. Some soft drinks and cheese snacks were also left out for us. Pam actually baked a mini chocolate cake for us! That’s how lovely she is. Incredible. There are no main supermarkets in the area. There is a great little coffee shop a few minutes away as well as a fish n chip shop which is open 7-7 everyday. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful relaxing time. Trout fishing was pretty good too. Hubby caught half a dozen in 3 seperate sessions. Thank you Pam for opening your home to us. It was a perfect little getaway for us.

Beautiful lake and great hosts

My dad and I had a great stay here! Pam and Neville let us borrow their kayaks, so we got to do a sunset kayak of the lake. It was beautiful. We had a great time!

Perfect location for lakeside activities

The lake and playground are right on your doorstep. The hosts are fantastic and having use of the kayaks and life jackets were an added bonus. Our 3 and a half year old is already asking to stay here again

Divine stay

Was delighted on arrival! The gorgeous bush lined road in, the beautiful little lane where the site is located, lined with classic baches, the lakeside location, the little street which is like a community space where people stop and chat, the bushclad hill dropping into the water, Hongi's track walking trail I was very lucky to find somewhere so serene and special. The kayaking and swimming just lovely. Definately want to return Caravan environment so well appointed. Thank you

Lovely Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this beautiful lakeside paradise. The hosts were lovely and welcoming and this was the most ideal location for visiting all of the must see tourist attractions of Rotorua. Wonderful to stay in the garden caravan with my young son. Pam and Nev are wonderful hosts, the Caravan is spotless and perfect place to stay. Brilliant location right on the lakeside, playground, bush walks, golf and Rotorua just 20 minutes or so away. This was our second visit and we had such a good time. Thank you for having us.
