Camp de Base is the ideal 'base camp' for all your activities located in the heart of Akaroa.
Situated conveniently at the bottom of Rue Balguerie, only a hop skip and a jump to the local shops, cafes, restaurants, seaside bar, beach and playground. Further up the road you will find the
popular wedding and events venue, Mt Vernon Lodge.
Located on a rear-section, camp de base is fully fenced with off-street parking for a few vehicles. The sun-drenched and sheltered back lawn provides fantastic outdoor area for BBQs and/or for the kids to play.
Television is only Netflex viewing
Large rooms and polished wooden floors , renovated bathroom facilities provide a homely,relaxed and comfortable feel. A sunroom located off the main living area provides additional space to rest and relax; during the winter months a log burner and a heat pump will keep you toasty and warm on the sofa inside.

Excellent bach in Akaroa, located just off main road by supermarket. Bunkroom with two bunks and two double rooms. Had everything we needed. Property very clean, property manager had excellent communication. Very happy and would return and recommmend.

Location, location, location
Great accommodation and the best location. We parked up when we arrived and didn't need to use the cars again until we left! Easy walking distance (even for small children) to all the activities we wanted to do.The property was well kitted out with plenty of space for all of us. Great outdoor area for our Christmas Day barbecue.I will definitely be booking again for our next family holiday.

Lovely safe place for children and so handy to everything. It is bigger than it looks in the pictures too which was a nice surprise and the beds were great especially good solid bunks. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This house is perfect. Lovely and clean and tidy!! Can't wait to stay again. An extra bit of seating in the lounge would be super helpful as not really enough seating for four adults and 2 kids. Outside of that, amazing. A real hidden gem.

Boat Parking
Lovely property to stay in. The online accuracy was very good but should advise boaties that the property does not accommodate boats. The driveway parking is good for cars only. It was impossible to park the boat on the property because of if there are cars parked on the road you cannot access the drive towing a boat in or out. We had to leave the boat on the narrow road. This would cause a major boat parking problem during busy season.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Found the seating in the living room very uncomfortable. Also would have been nice to have some green grass to play/sit on. Other wise a good place to stay
