A well appointed kitchen leads out to a spacious deck with a seating area, dining area and BBQ, all accompanied by breath-taking panoramic views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains creating the most georgeous holiday setting. You can also catch the views from the living room where guests can get cozy in front of a wood burner fire.
On the entry level you will find the kitchen and dining area, a spacious living room with TV and wood burner. There is also a bedroom with a tri- bunk bed on this level, great for children and extended families travelling together. Located on the second level is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a large window to capture the view. A second, spacious bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom is also situated on this level.
Nyumbani is well appointed with all of the holiday home necessities including a BBQ, Tv's in both the living room and Queen bedrooms. Unlimited wi-fi is also available for guests during their stay. The home is located just a 5 minute drive from central Queenstown or a scenic 20 minute walk down the hill. Nyumbani is nestled in a private, quiet garden setting away from the hustle and bustle yet close to all of the activities Queenstown has to offer.

Our family holiday home is managed exclusively by Harcourts Holiday Homes and means that they are able to ensure everything in our home is kept up to the highest standards, and while they operate NZ office hours, they are always available to send the appropriate person around to ensure any urgent problem is fixed immediately. Having access to emergency services such as plumbers and electricians, provide peace of mind to us, so that your stay will never be compromised.
Nyumbani is located just off Vancouver drive down a private lane way.
Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Additionally, all guests who are unaccompanied by a parent or guardian must also be over 25 years of age.
Check in time: the property will be available from 3:00pm on the day of your arrival
Check out time: is 10:00am on the morning of departure. Please return the key to the lock-box on check-out.
NO SMOKING POLICY -室内外禁止吸烟 -Smoking is not permitted in this holiday home, outside or in any of the common areas. Breach of this policy will result in a cleaning fee being applied to the guest who made the booking.
Our holiday homes must be left in a clean and tidy condition upon departure. Should the home require excessive cleaning over and above what is deemed reasonable, a charge of $40.00 plus gst per hour will be on-charged to the guest who made the booking. This includes but not limited to doing dishes, pots and pans, removal of rubbish, cleaning the oven after use and the BBQ.
As our holiday homes are all non -serviced we provide complimentary consumables sufficient for the first 2 days of your stay such as toiletries, toilet paper and soap.
The other condiments, spices etc in the pantry cupboard are for your use but are not intentionally provided. Feel free to use what you need but it would be appreciated if you could replace or leave something similar when you leave.
RUBBISH - We kindly ask that you dispose of the rubbish correctly. If rubbish is found on your departure which is not in the correct bins provided, any disposal and sorting costs incurred will be on-charged to the guest who made the booking.
As residential homes you are asked to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. The number of occupants is as per the reservation and may not be increased without approval from Harcourts Property Management. Increased occupancy, excessive noise or illegal activity may result in penalty charges and eviction and forfeiture of all prepaid rental monies.
DAMAGES /NEGLIGENCE
We accept that breakages and accidents do happen, the person who made the booking is responsible to report any breakage to Harcourts Property Management and Rentals.
