Waitarere Wonder is a renovated sunny beach house with beach access directly across the road. It has a west facing deck that is partially covered and a sheltered rear deck with an outdoor fire.
Enjoy all day sun on the huge front deck which is partially covered with an Archgola to provide some shade and shelter. The deck is accessed via stacker doors off the open plan living area and also from the main bedroom.
There is also a new deck at the rear of the property which is very sheltered and sunny and provides a good spot for BBQing. There is also an outdoor fire in the backyard to enjoy on cooler nights, or make the most the last of the sun on the front deck with a glass of wine.
The house has been extensively renovated throughout and has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The stunning kitchen and bathroom have everything you need including a dishwasher and Infinity gas hot water. There is also a new laundry area.
An extension at the rear of the property was added late 2023 for the owners to use but guests benefit from the new deck area in the backyard and a new laundry area.
Waitarere Wonder is located on Rua Avenue and is walking distance to the local restaurant (Beachside Bar & Restaurant), 4 Square and gift shop. The domain, park, tennis courts and south and north forests are also within walking distance.
There is a liquor store on Waitarere Beach Road near the north end forest and the bowling club (Club Waitarere on Park Avenue) is in the street directly behind the beach house.
Besides enjoying the fabulous beach, the forest areas at the south and north ends of Waitarere are great for mountain biking, walking and running. The south end forest has a kids Fairy forest and Middle Earth - an adventure playground.
