Warm and inviting

Lovely quiet location. So nice to have central heating for winter holidays. The living areas were bathed in sunshine most of the day. Comfortable beds and good window coverings to darken the bedrooms if you have kids who won't settle. Overall a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday at Robertson Retreat. Will definitely go back there.

great, kind, and responsive host. great location spick and span place so kind to provide sitting and standing high chair for our 1.5 year old potential improvements more bathrooms maybe (there was just one for shower and 2 for others) no AC!

Robertson Retreat is the perfect place to stay for avid mountain bikers as well as families with small children. It was fantastic to have a lock up garage to store our mountain bikes. Great for families with young children too as there were two high chairs and and an enclosed back yard. Centrally situated so easy access to everything. Will definitely make use of the home again.

Great property for Families

We arrived late due to heavy congestion from Auckland so didn’t make use of our early check in but happy to arrive to a comfortable and well equipped property. Everything met our needs superbly and the location was spot on for where we needed to be throughout the weekend. We would definitely book this property again.

Due to unforeseen events this property was unavailable however,

a very pleasant property manager offered us a great replacement -in a timely manner. The lovely farm stay property just outside the township was a pleasant surprise. We loved how open plan and wheelchair friendly it was. The property accommodated our family group of 7 very nicely. We loved that it was quiet (apart from a nice cow moo - ing from afar) and still accessible to all Rotorua had to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Rotorua farm property.

Great place to stay. Didnt like having to pay a "damage deposit" of $250. Wouldnt have minded so much if we had been made aware of that before making first deposit

Great location

We stayed at this property during winter. The gas central heating was great but it turned off during the night and with no other heating available, we froze in the night. Electric blankets would have been lovely. Also only very light bedding provided and no extra blankets. For an extended stay, would be great if there was a dryer. Also a fan in the bathroom would help otherwise very comfortable.

Welcoming

Thank you for having us in your home. We very much appreciated you rushing to have us in in time. When I rang and asked for help working the heating our manager arrived very quickly and brought extra quilts. There is everything in the house to make our stay comfortable. Our first visit at Christmas was as enjoyable. Lots of thanks from all of us.

Great little break-away
