Beautiful home, relaxing stay

Modern, clean, well insulated and heated home in a peaceful area. Handy to local convenience stores, marina and rivers. Would definitely recommend. Have stayed multiple times and intend on returning.

Modern spacious well equipped home

Absolutely Wonderful

Amazing home with the perfect set up for families and couples. Lovely clean home with a warm feel to it, we didn't want to leave! Great communication with Ross. Short 10 min walk to lakefront/marina. Suggest stopping in at Licorice Cafe, doing the short Motuoapa Lookout walk, and driving 10-15 mins north to Bullipoint picnic stop. We will definitely be coming back!!

Enjoyable stay

There were only two of us on this visit but it would be perfect for two families - a bathroom, master bedroom and bunk room at each end separated by the living area. Comfy beds.

Wi-Fi-disappointment

As we fully understand the owners idea of wanting to have a bach with no internet and instead focus on the company and all the amazing things to do in the area, it did give us quite a problem not being able to go on line during our stay. Coming from abroad we don’t have access to internet (w/o paying a fortune) and all the planning of activities became a hassle. Nice layout of the house. Functional. Spacious. We recommend it but be aware of the lack of Wi-Fi.

Kids need wifi to stay busy so the grown ups can enjoy but unfortunately there was no wifi apart from that everything was perfect.

Perfect Holiday Home

We picked this house as it had enough beds / bedrooms for group of guys travelling together to all have their own space. The driveway is long enough & wide enough to get a decent sized trailer up there which was the main reason for us choosing this one, as we were travelling for car racing. Once we got there & found it was even better than expected, I phoned my wife and suggested this was our new holiday location!

Excellent place to stay.

This is a very nice house with a big open plan area that leads to a veranda / outdoor area. Kitchen has everything required to cook and is spacious. The bedrooms were big and the whole place was clean and tidy when we arrived. Ten minute drive to great fishing locations on both the lake and local rivers (Tongaririo, Tauranga / Taupo, Hinemaiaia) No hassle at all from anywhere and overall a great place to stay. Five Stars!

Family trip to Mt Ruapehu

The accommodation was amazing, we were a large group and the house was perfect. The fireplace kept was warm and the set up of the house was functional for the family. The location was great because it was under 40 min. drive to Mt Ruapehu. The kitchen was well equipped and the board games kept the kids occupied. Overall wonderful experience!
