Kowhai glamping hut offers the best of both worlds. The comforts of home with hot water, flush toilet and comfortable bed with soft sheets while still being out in a quiet relaxed location with amazing views. Cooking is simple, BBQ and gas's hob with all pots, plates etc provided. Relax with no interruptions, we have limited cell coverage and no tv. In fact no power. Lighting is provided by LED battery lights. On a working sheep and beef farm, feel free to go for a wonder down to the river. Gladstone Horse Treks operates just 5 min away. So why not try a ride during your stay. Special conditions: No smoking. No pets
Extras: Cleaning (included); Linen (included);

We had a great time in a very peaceful location with a great view of farmland. It had everything we needed although pleased we took two comfortable deck chairs. Large bathroom, very warm comfortable bed and very cool outdoor kitchen. Plenty of battery lights
and we took a lantern. Definitely be back again .

Just relaxing
If you need to unwind then this is the place for you
A great place to recharge above the morning mist in the valley below... you really feel like you have a slice of paradise all of your own the whole time you are there.
An absolutely stunning location, the view was amazing, so peaceful, a winding road to get to the top of summit, but well worth the drive, make sure you take plenty of provisions, food, snacks, milk,etc, so your not having to drive in and out, take mags, games, cards etc, for evening entertainment, torches, there were torches provided, spares are good, we took our own drinking water, bedroom pod was very comfortable, bathtub overlooking the view, and a rustic sheltered outdoor kitchen, all added to the glamping experience, definitely recommend the experience....listening to the birdlife and farm animals was bliss.....
A modern glamping hut well built with a spectacular view to wake up to, surrounded by farm animals. Great hosts that go above and beyond. Approx an hour and a half drive from Wellington to escape the fast pace city life for some peace and serenity. Highly recommend!
Quiet and peaceful stay with a stunning view. Will visit again.

'Glamping' is d brilliantly here.
'Glamping' is d brilliantly here. I don't want the secret of how cool it is to get out! ..and I can't wait to return again. Everything you need is there and the blue reclining deck chairs are the perfect finishing touch.
