Summary:
Lakeside Gem is a modern, stylish home near the shores of Lake Rotorua. The home is two story and has outdoor living both at garden level and from the second story deck which features fantastic views over the lake. The master bedroom has a King bed. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed. Bedroom 3 has a bunk style Queen bed with a single bed over top. There are also 2 pullout couches. Two kayaks and lifejackets are also provided.
The Space:
This home has only just been built in May 2017 so has everything you could need for a great stay in Rotorua. It also has a heat pump in the main living area so super cosy in winter and cool in summer, all bedrooms also have additional heaters to keep you warm and cosy and fans for the summer. The house is two story and has outdoor living both at garden level and from the second story deck which features fantastic views over the lake. Only a 10 min drive from the central city, this is a quiet and peaceful location yet so close to all the shops, restaurants and activities of Rotorua.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the whole property, including the garage to park your car and garden. Free parking on the street also. The house is alarmed for security and comes fully furnished with linen and towels and all kitchen equipment as well as wifi, washer/dryer, air conditioning, heating and two Smart TV's. 2 kayaks and lifejackets are provided for the adventurous.
The Neighborhood:
Ngongotaha is a quiet suburb of Rotorua just 8km from city centre. It has its own medical centre, pharmacy, mini supermarket, petrol station and other shops. An easy 5 min drive away are lots of takeaway shops and a large Countdown supermarket as well as the tourist attractions of the Agrodome, Zorb, Rainbow Springs, Gondola and Luge.
Getting Around:
While it will be easiest for you if you have a car the house is only 200m from a bus stop that will take you directly and easily into the city centre. The bus comes approx every half an hour and costs about $2nzd per trip, you can pay cash on the bus.
