Location was convenient and close to all activities and restaurants.. home could use a little more TLC but spacious and quiet. Has minimal amenities provided but hot tub was clean

Great space to spread out

We enjoyed our stay at groovy on grey. It was a wonderful location. It is a spacious house. It does have a bit of a musty smell. The kitchen had all we needed for our stay. It was close to everything in town. We needed another fan and it was there first thing in the morning. They are very quick to communicate with you.

Central Location

This is a great location that is central to Rotorua. Of course, if you have a car, nothing in Rotorua is far to get to!The spa was a welcome extra - wish we could have used it more .Would definitely book this place again.

Really great place in good location

The house was very clean and modern. Lots of space inside and a big garden. Hot tub was a wellcome extra we could use. Good off road parking and close to small shops for buying essentials.

wonderful stay

Great location

The property was in an ideal location on a quiet street, and parts of the interior had been nicely updated. It had plenty of room for two couples and could have fit several more. The beds are comfortable and the AC worked well. Our main issue was the washer and dryer which need to be replaced. The wash machine was hit and miss on spinning (90% miss) and the dryer timer does not work causing a severe fire hazard (the dryer would not turn off on its own). Other than that frustrating issue we really liked the property and would recommend it.

Place was good. Trouble with washer/dryer….had to get in touch with property manager. Had to find breaker box and fix. Think this may be a recurring problem. Can’t run washer and dryer at the same time without blowing a fuse.Overall good.

Accommodation was awesome

Accommodation was awesome.4 sizable bedrooms, one with en suite, spacious kitchen and lounge and a large area at the back of the house.The house was clean and well presented. Handy location within walking distance to the city ,shops,bars and restaurants. Highly recommend this place and thanks for providing a great place to stay.

Nice but photos are a bit deceiving

We (husband, me, son, girlfriend) had a nice stay while we spent a long holiday weekend in Rotorua. That said, the house is in need of updating - the bathroom fixtures are rusted, the mattresses are very uncomfortable, and the bedding was not at all soft and inviting. The kitchen and living room were very nice and easy to use and well-stocked with a big tv and newish appliances. Because of rainy weather, we didn’t use the hot tub but it looked nice. The host was lovely to work with. She even extended our stay last minute at a slight discount which we appreciated. There’s a bakery and dairy a short walk away but getting into town and to the adventure activities does require a drive. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood- nice to come back to after a day of hiking, zip lining, etc.

Central, Clean and Con

This was a great option for the long weekend with lots of space for our groups and really well equipped to ensure you did not have to eat out every night. Its positioned to mean you can walk to town if you want and easy to strike out for any of the attractions. A great option in Rotorua.

Spirited Women's Adventure Race weekend

This place was fantastic for 4 couples. Nicely set up, plenty of space, great location (we especially enjoyed the resturant Urbano just a short walk down the road). Ideal accommodation for us as a Spirited Women's team and our husbands. Good communication with host.

Prefect base stay in Rotorua

Groovy on grey was the perfect base to stay in Rotorua, house was perfect and spacious very comfortable and has everything you need. Location was great with a cafe on the corner and a dairy close by, but also a short walk into town. Would come back and stay again. Thank you

Groovy, spacious, convenient and lots of space!

We stayed here in winter, so spend time indoors, but in summer the house should be even better! Large backyard, lots of windows will make for a great large family hangout. It is in a very nice, quiet location, a short walk away from the Rotorua central mall, easy access to all directions for sight seeing etc. The house has a washer dryer, and is clean and well kept. Would recommend this when staying in Rotorua!

Wonderful spacious house in a great location

We were in Rotorua for 3 nights at the end of June and loved staying at Groovy on Grey. The house was very cute with a lovely garden and was in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The property had every comfort of home and was well equipped to handle the cold weather we experienced, especially the electric blanket! The location was perfect, but you will need a car to make the most of the attractions. We did walk to the local restaurant Urbano for dinner, which was just lovely. Would definitely recommend the property for your stay in Rotorua.
