Before renting this property, I read over all of the prior reviews. The majority of folks who have stayed here gave this apartment top scores for cleanliness, ambiance and , above all else, location. The only negative that was repeatedly cited was the noise from the street and street level business venues.Having lived in this apartment for the entire month of February, I found the reviews pretty much on target. The well equipped apartment is charming, and the location is spectacular. The Saint Michel-Notre Dame Metro station is just a 4 min walk, and provides RER-B service directly to CDG Airport. Getting around Paris by Metro is super easy, and this apartment is at the center of it all.The apartment is on the top floor and at the back of the building. Secure access from the pedestrian business alley leads to a flight of stairs and then another secure
This apartment is the perfect home base for visiting Paris. It is comfortable and easy to access even with a sleeping toddler and many shopping bags thanks to the elevator. The area feels quite safe and has quick access to public transport, although it is an easy walk to many sights as well. The only noise we noticed was bells and occasional music from the reopening of Notre Dame, which was a rather lovely thing to experience. We ate breakfast and dinner nearly every day in the open dining room. The kitchen had everything we needed for making simple meals and tea and there are a few supermarkets, patisseries, and cafes within a five to ten minute walk that had what we needed for cooking or the occasional lunch. We also ate dinner twice at the lovely Italian restaurant across the street that was recommended by the welcome book in the apartment. It was excellent. We found the beds comfortable, the layout and supplies well-organized, and the plugs well located for our needs. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
The location of this apartment, just a few steps from the Seine and Notre Dame, is a great base to explore Paris. The apartment itself is quite roomy and comfortable. Highly recommend.
The apartment was basically nice, in a good location, with two serious problems. The couch and chairs were old and very uncomfortable for sitting. There were no really comfortable places to sit.The other serious problem is that there was a very long and steep stairway with no hand railing on one side from the street level to the first floor where one can get the elevator. For an older person, this stairway might be very hard to climb, thus undermining the claim that the apartment has an elevator in the promotional material on VRBO. At the very least another handrailing must be installed. My wife had trouble on the stairs, and could not go up or down by herself, so we would not stay there again.
A fantastic apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. There are countless great restaurants, cafes, bakeries, creperies, and other places to eat and get dessert just steps away. Notre Dame is literally just around the corner and so many other historic sites are just a short walk away. The metro is also just around the corner which adds even more convenience.
The apartment decor is a lot of fun, the beds are comfortable, the furniture and layout make great use of the space, and the entire property has really charming character.
Guests should be aware that the street this unit is on is very vibrant and active late into the evening (1-2am or later), especially on weekends. You will hear voices and music even with the windows closed. Bring earplugs, a white noise machine or use your phone to play sounds to drown out the noise if that is an issue for you.
Overall we loved our stay and would recommend this property.
First, communication was fantastic. She answered every question I had (even the stupid ones). Everything was clean and just as pictured. Coming from America, some parts were small but fine for our needs. My guess it is a typical apartment in Paris. Location was perfect. Small side street with only noise on the weekends but not so much that it was disturbing. Out the door to the left about 100 feet to the end of the street is across the street and river from Notre Dame. Items to remember when you rent the apartment: flight of stairs as soon as you walk in the door from the street. You will have to haul your luggage up those stairs. This apartment is on the fourth floor. There is a small elevator that will fit two people or one with a large bag. Only 8 apartments in the building so the elevator is rarely in use. The three flights of stairs were the path chosen most of the time. No view out the windows but really didn't matter. Stairs to the upper part of the apartment are narrow but manageable. Details of the apartment: One room downstairs with a toilet and sink. Another room downstairs with a sink and a shower. This room also contained the washer/dryer.
Kitchen with stove, sink, microwave and small refrigerator. Room downstairs with a TV and a couch. Another room downstairs with a dining table. Upstairs is another bed and a room with a sink and a small shower. If you are taller than about 5' 7", you will hit your head. Summary - I would stay there again without hesitation.
Brava e professionale.
We spent 8 nights in this very comfortable apartment. It is in a perfect location. Right across from Notre Dame and practically on top of the metro station. Easy to get anywhere in Paris, plus the neighborhood is great. It was a wonderful stay.
Right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this fourth floor apartment was both comfortable and charming. Even though the street is very crowded and noisy, the apartment was remarkably quiet. Lovely bed and great shower. As other reviewers have noted, there is only one toilet. That might be an issue if you have four guests.
The kitchen is smaller than the photos suggest with almost no bench space. Not enough cutlery and crockery if you have guests for a meal or to stay.
The property manager was very responsive, replacing a faulty kettle straight away and providing an extra clothes drying rack upon request.
The wi-fi was quoted as being excellent but in fact was inadequate to conduct zoom meetings.
Be aware that you will be charged for electricity. We stayed for 5 weeks in warm weather (no heating) and the charge was 87 euros.
Overall, delighted with our Parisian stay in a vibrant and fun neighbourhood.
Ps: can highly recommend the Plano bar downstairs!
We chose by location first and size second, and functional aspects for meals etc, and this hit all the boxes. Excellent location, truly great! We had so much fun radiating out from the centrally located apt on daily outings, but always happy to come back to our sparkly lively road!! The only small knocks were that it wasn't clear online the bathroom set ups, that the one toilet room was separate from the two shower rooms, but we made it work for the adults. Also a shame no view out at anything.... BUT thankful back of building and not noisy from the very lively front street!! We'd definitely stay here again! Charming and well appointed, and Diane and Alejandro were great to work with - we all had a lovely holiday and long week here!!!

Udmærket lejlighed til kortere ophold beliggende i Latinerkvarteret. Praktisk indrettet.
You could almost not find a better located apartment to stay in Paris. Quite literally a stone’s throw from the Île de la Cité, the area is close to all major metro and bus lines and is perfectly suited for walking around the historic area. Restaurants, both “fast tourist” and “charming French” abound. If you are looking for something quick you need step only outside your door, or if you want a more upscale and traditional meal they are within a 10 minute easy walk.
The building is ultra-secure and though smack in the middle of a busy tourist area, with the windows closed you would never know the busy street was there. The apartment was very clean and although on the 4th French (5th US) floor, was served by an elevator after mounting the steps to the first floor.
There are several boulangeries nearby (less than 1-2 minute walk) so you can enjoy the ultimate French croissant or pastry for breakfast.
Minor problems:
BATHROOMS: The listing suggest there are two showers and toilets and from my experience I can say there is a shower and toilet downstairs and a shower upstairs but no toilet. This was a bit of an inconvenience for our friends who stayed in the upstairs bedroom served by narrow steps. It was difficult for them to descend during the night to use the bathroom.
KITCHEN: The kitchen had all the required dishes and utensils, however there were no basics. Salt, pepper, sugar, dishwasher pods/soap were not available and there was only a small sample size dishwashing liquid supplied. Those would have been nice touches since obviously there is no way to buy just a few dishwasher pods and unless you stop in the nearby Monoprix you will have no spices.
INTERNET: Most times of the day the internet is fine, but in the evening it seems to slow considerably. This might have been seasonal or perhaps the result of people streaming shows on the TV elsewhere in the building, but if you need fast internet in the evening you may be disappointed.
Overall, the minuses are far outweighed by the plusses and I would stay here again without a second thought.
