About this property

5Ez Farm house

Newly completed construction of a fully equipped upper level home- one bedroom with king size bed, 2 sleeper sofa's in the living room for additional sleeping space. Full bathroom with tub/shower combo, BBQ, wood stove, A/C, and a view. Chickens roam the property, horses will talk to you as you sit on the porch. We are located just off of Hwy 180 and within walking distance from the corner coffee shop and gas station/store. 20 min easy drive to Kings Canyon National Park with Hume Lake a few mins further in the park as well as the giant trees. 25 mins from Reedley and Sanger for larger store shopping.

Due to extreme wildland fire hazards NO outside wood burning is allowed of any kind not only by us but by county regulations east of the Friant/Kern canal and will be cause of removal from the property.

We are a pet friendly location but we do have an additional cleaning fee due to the extra cleaning & hair removal that must be done as we pride ourselves in being clean & sanitized. A fee of $20 for 1-2 nights and $40 for 3-6 nights (this is not a deposit but an additional pre cleaning fee- if there is extensive cleaning or any damage there will be additional fees after the fact). You MUST inform us at the time of your booking request that you plan to bring your small/medium fur baby with you (dog, cat, weasle, ferret, turtle, ect except Skunks-no skunks are needed as there is plenty in the area 😂). At that time we will discuss expectations to ensure an enjoyable stay for you, them and us. If agreed upon we will happily accept your request. We just need to be clear on a few things as this is a newly built studio with all new furniture and there are hazards to be aware of as well as livestock on the property. Unfortunately if your intentions are not made clear before arrival and you just show up you may be asked to leave without a refund. We have added this after the fact due to issues that have already occurred so to continue to stay pet friendly, as we love our fur babies as well, we needed to make this clear.

Cozy and Clean!!
This is a cozy and clean barn loft that is modern and has the amenities necessary for a short stay. Great location if visiting Kings Canyon & Sequoia NPs. The farm is quaint and the host family is friendly. A good choice!

Nice stay at the barn
We enjoyed our couple of days here while we explored Kings Canyon NP. Hosts welcomed us in person and made sure we settled in well. The barn was very spacious and we loved the kitchen. Bed was comfy and cozy. The wifi was mostly okay but there were a few times when we were watching a movie and it froze and needed a reboot. The wild turkeys on the property were fun to see!

A Nice Place Close to Kings Canyon NP
This is a lovely Guest House on a working ranch very close to Kings Canyon National Park. The amenities and accommodations were just as described. Viewing the beautiful sunset from the deck with a glass of wine was a wonderful end to a great day in the Park.

Great Spot near Kings Canyon
We loved this little spot near Kings Canyon. The house was clean and cozy. The King bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great size and had nice little amenities. The owners kept to themselves as we did too. If we needed anything it was nice to know they were only a call away. There are only two restaurant's, a coffee shop and a gas station in the town, so go to the store in a bigger town before coming. We didn't use the kitchen really but the refrigerator was nice to store all of our cold items. Thank you for sharing your barn casita with us! It was perfect. At night we cozied up on the couch and watch movies.

Birdwatching paradise
PROS: The Barn is located in the farm's garden, and it offers the best bird watching and photographing experience. It was a great plus for a nature's lover like me. Robert is really nice, helpful and ready to give you some recommendations and welcome to the farm. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, it has everything you need for a nice vacation and the location is very good for Kings Canyon NP. Bed is very comfortable. CONS: I have to say the bath is in need of renovation. Everything is old, cracked, scratched and the faucets with crust. Not very clean at all. The kitchen utensils and pots and pans are also very old and scratched and the kitchen is also in need of better cleaning. The counter is ok to eat from but the stools are too high for it. There should be a dining table in the living room. There is enough space for it. Since the owners require to set up an insurance I expect everything to be in top condition. All in all we had a great time. The landscape is gorgeous and the place very peaceful.

Heartland Barn Loft
This barn loft is so cute! And spacious! We loved that the kitchen was large and accommodating. The bed was very comfy and the location was what we expected. My only recommendation would be for the host to answer my email and text. We were in need of some recommendations and that flopped. However, God showed up and we were able to hike Edison Trail and ended up going to Kingsburg a sweet Swedish town. Go there you won’t regret it!

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. Very clean and roomy. We didn't cook there but it seemed well equipped. Owner did come to accomodate some issues we had with coffee pot. Property does have some animals there, but no odors. Location is great for sunsets, and is convernient to SEKI parks. Great coffee shop just down the road.

Our stay at the Farm House
I didn’t know what to expect being at a farm but I was pleasantly surprised. Very neat and clean. They did a great job remodeling it. Like a cozy home as opposed to a sterile motel room. The kitchen was very well stocked. I would definitely come back!

Room above a barn
‘Farm house’ is more accurately an apartment over a barn and comes with noises, odors and dirt of a barn setting. The bed sheets were dirty so we slept on the couches; we had no hot water for showers; bathroom occasionally smelled of sewage; the TV frequently cut out; owner didn’t respond to text message concerning issues. Very unpleasant experience.

Just beautiful!
Jodie and Robert are such wonderful hosts that we didn’t even need them during our stay. The carriage house is completely clean and ready to go. That deck is just heaven to sit out on and watch the sun set. Our trip was to see a land parcel we purchased and we’re trying to add a high deck just like it to our plans! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations! We hope to stay here again when we break ground at our own Squaw Valley place.

Our Family Stay At The Farmhouse For Our Snow Trip
We had a most enjoyable time staying at The Farmhouse during our family snow trip. The loft is pleasant on a quaint farm atmosphere with horses and turkeys. If you intend to bring your pet, be sure to discuss this Jodie. They are pet friendly but they would like to make a definite decision before you come. We made the mistake of not discussing this and could have been turned away with out refund. We are thankful for their hospitality and generosity.

Great property, close to National Parks
We had a great stay at the barn. Perfect launching grounds for daily trips to the National Parks. Only 20 miles to the gate entrance of Kings Canyon National Park. We really enjoyed the kitchen as well for our Thanksgiving meal and having our dog along for the trip really made the stay perfect.

Great get-away
My daughter and I stayed here while visiting the National parks. It was a great location - an easy drive to and from the parks, and a nice quiet farmhouse for the evenings. The animals were a great plus too. Thanks for a great stay!
