What We Love
In the heart of leafy Paddo, you’ll find your next perfect escape. This wonderful home combines elegant, traditional features with bright modernity to form a welcoming home. This is the ideal choice for short city breaks for a stylish group, or forms a sophisticated stay if you’re looking for something longer-term.
Adorned with decorative balcony railings, the approach to this beautiful 3-bedroom terrace hints at the elegant design within. Decorative period features have been cleverly maintained throughout, alongside the best in contemporary convenience. A sophisticated double sitting room has been cleverly opened up with a folding door, allowing natural light to stream across this home. If you’re a large group, the double room is perfect, with a host of soft natural armchairs to sink into, in front of one of two light stone fireplaces. On a cosier evening, sliding shut your white wood doors creates a smaller sitting room for watching TV or relaxing with a book, and a separate study. The intelligent use of natural light continues into the modern kitchen and diner, where strategically placed skylight windows allow sunlight to pour over your minimal white kitchen. The kitchen features an electric hob and a stylish kitchen island, accompanied by natural wooden stools. A statement wooden dining table overlooks French windows, which can be pushed open to make the most of your walled garden.
Sleeping up to 8 guests, the brilliant elegance of this home is only enhanced as you ascend to the first floor. The master bedroom is a restful retreat, where wooden floors and white walls form the perfect backdrop for the soft contemporary art, and a Scandi-style monochrome rug, in front of the gorgeous, traditional tiled fireplace. You can sink into a King-sized bed here, plus, you have a private balcony to enjoy a morning coffee. The second bedroom boasts a queen bed with an oak bed frame and a matching side table. A restful grey colour scheme has been applied here, evoking a stylish sense of calm. This serenity continues into the final full bedroom, where a Split-King has been presented as two single beds which can be made up as a king on request. If you have a larger group, there is also the option to make use of a sofa bed in the lounge. This home also boasts two bathrooms. On the first floor, you’ll find a modern-traditional bathroom with a deep, freestanding tub. On the ground floor, there is a practical second bathroom, with a toilet and walk-in shower.
During your stay here, you’ll undoubtedly fall in love with Paddo, one of Sydney’s most desirable suburbs. A heritage village dotted with boutique stores and hemmed by rows of Victorian-era houses; the streets combine old-world influences with a modern flair. You’re just a short walk from Centennial Park, which is well worth exploring for a picnic to discover the beautiful fauna and flora that abounds here. Or if you’re looking for a more upmarket bite to eat, check out ‘Love Supreme, ’ a popular restaurant serving pizza that is good enough to get emotional about. A short car or bus ride will bring you to the stunning coastal strip where you’ll find Bondi, Tamarama, and Bronte—or set off on the dazzling Bondi to Coogee coastal walk and enjoy them all!
