About this property

Sunset Sanctuary by Tiny Away

Summary:
Come and experience the serenity of our tiny house Victoria getaway at Sunset Sanctuary by Tiny Away - Myrtle Creek, where you can unwind by a cozy bonfire, meet our rescue animals, and experience the joys of farm life. The best part? Every penny of your stay supports the care of our cherished 40+ rescued animals in this charming sanctuary.

Just 28 minutes from Bendigo and an hour from Melbourne, your city getaway awaits, ready to whisk you away into a cozy countryside escape.

The Space:
Sunset Sanctuary by Tiny Away offers a perfect escape at Myrtle Creek Manor, where you'll enjoy expansive views of the dam, the surrounding land, and distant horizons. As a working rescue farm, our home is separate, but you might spot someone caring for the animals. If you do, feel free to say hello—we'd love to share what we do!

Nearby the popular Bendigo Tramways, you can uncover hidden gems of The Cascades and swimming holes in Metcalfe along the Coliban River, and the breathtaking Dog Rocks in Mount Alexander Regional Park, offering stunning views of Harcourt and the surrounding countryside.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. This tiny house features a loft-style bed designed exclusively for adults; children and infants are not permitted.

If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria getaway here. We kindly advise guests to bring their necessities, such as food and water during their stay. Thank you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Kindly note that this is a fully operational family farm. Although we will be present on the property, rest assured that you will have your own private space.

If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Roccos Retreat," just 30-40 meters away from your current tiny house, available with 24 hours' notice.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas. Please note that the property is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN BELOW 16YRS OLD due to large dams, creeks, farm roads, and roaming animals. We cannot guarantee their safety at all times.

We also have smaller pens with animals behind the tiny home. If you'd like to see them, feel free to contact us. We love sharing our work and will be happy to chat with you.

ADVANCE NOTICE: Please be advised that this is an animal rescue farm with animals roaming freely. A "Park at Your Own Risk" sign is posted, and the landhost offers blankets to cover cars in the parking area.
