Evergreen Escape is the ideal year-round retreat perched on the slopes of Whistler mountain. This quiet and peaceful complex surrounded by forest offers Ski-In access from the slopes of Whistler Mountain. With the ski-out trail located just a 5-10 minute walk up the street from the complex and the ski-in back home conveniently located across from the unit. Note that ski access typically runs from late-December to late March via the Dave Murray Downhill run.
Embodying the charm of a Whistler ski cabin, this open concept 3 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom home features post and beam construction and inviting wooden accents, plus stunning original artwork throughout. Enjoy all the comforts of home in this well appointed space including a fully equipped kitchen, double set washer/dryer, and 75” flatscreen TV. Sit back and relax on the wraparound balcony, soaking up the fresh mountain air.
The main bedroom, open to downstairs, boasts a King-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in closet. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and its own ensuite bathroom and the third loft bedroom features a full size bed along with a dedicated workspace and a curtain for privacy.
You can also rest easy knowing all of your valuable ski equipment and mountain bikes can be stored securely in your very own private garage.
Additionally, you'll also have access to the Taluswood complex's communal area with a year-round hot tub and heated pool (available summer only), just a short stroll away, making it the perfect retreat for unwinding after a day on the slopes.
Please note the fireplace is non-operational.
ROOMS:
Room 1: Primary bedroom - King bed open to downstairs, TV, a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom featuring a bathtub.
Room 2: Second bedroom - Queen bed, TV, a closet and dresser for storage and an ensuite bath
Room 3: Loft bedroom - Full/Double bed with TV, dresser for storage, dedicated workspace and privacy curtain (share bathroom with second bedroom)
LOCATION:
The Taluswood complex is located on the slopeside of Whistler's Nordic area, the perfect location for those looking for a quiet retreat outside of the hustle and bustle of the Village. Just a short 5-10 minute drive from Whistler Village and 3-5 minutes from the Creekside base. With the ski-out trail located just a 5-10 minute walk up the street from the complex and the ski-in back home conveniently located across from the unit. Please note that trail conditions may vary, especially in early and late winter). A vehicle is necessary for access, as the public bus service does not reach Taluswood, though taxi services are available.
SKI ACCESS:
Ski Out – A short 5-10 minute walk out to Nordic Drive and up the road 150ft to the intermediate ski-out trails that pops you just up the hill from the base of the mountain to upload the Creekside Gondola.
Ski In – Ski home off intermediate trails from the Dave Murray Downhill run on Whistler Mountain to directly across from the property.
Please be aware that ski-in and ski-out access is weather-dependent and typically available from late December through March. If you'd like confirmation of snow conditions before your arrival, feel free to reach out to our Guest Services team.
A note for beginner skiers, we recommend driving to the base of Creekside where there is free parking available and uploading the Creekside Gondola from there.

PARKING:
A private garage with space for 1 vehicle (height restrictions may apply) and limited first come first served visitor parking. If groups have more than one vehicle, the other can also park in the driveway in front of the garage.

Other things to note:
- All guests are required to sign a separate rental agreement within 24 hours of booking to confirm their reservation. We will also require a piece of government ID with the name matching the name on the reservation and the credit card to be uploaded to our secure portal.
