The house is spacious and immaculate. Two kitchens (main and small one on 2nd floor), plenty of eating areas for large groups, comfortable beds, tons of towels, and hard flooring for easy cleanup. The two master bedrooms upstairs are very large, so there is plenty of room for cribs and/or blowup mattresses.
Things that should be updated on listing: there isn't a hot tub, and the laundry facilities are not available for guest use. Also, the 5th walk-through bedroom has a pullout couch and curtain for privacy. This "bedroom" is located at base of main stairway, so it isn't quiet enough for little ones with early bedtimes.
The group that stayed in the house was 6 adults and one 7-year-old. The house was very well supplied with in all areas. We ate at the house and had all the dishes, eating and cooking supplies we would ever need. The house matched the photos and descriptions you saw online. The hosts were very easy to work with and helpful. We enjoyed the lake swimming and renting a boat.along with a little fishing. We would stay again.
Great cabin that fit our large family. Having two kitchens w more fridge space was awesome .
We also loved having the separate large inclosed porch to be able to have evening adult time without disturbing kids sleeping. Pontoon rental from neighbor was great customer service for sure . Would def recommend .
Nothing short of awesome. The whole experience top notch. The host's were responsive and kind. The home was well stocked and Clean. Plenty of room to spread out and have fun. Beds comfortable! Highly recommend.

This location/layout was absolutely ideal. We were looking for a place where we could set up a home away from home for a week, still work and see family and friends.
My in-laws had their own bedroom/bathroom on the main floor and my husband and I had our own space upstairs-kitchen included!
This place had everything you could think of!
The lake, fire pit, deck, porch, big windows- sunsets- everything!
We had a great time at the lodge on Rush Lake. The house is spacious and well cared for. There is plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. This house was built by my great grandparents and was my dad's childhoom home. We spent most of the time looking at old photos and hearing stories about the property (which was a resort and farm that included the twin barns) and what the area was like back in the day. It's nice to see the property is restored and well cared for. I would gladly rent it again in the future.
The Lodge was a great place for our family gathering. There was plenty of room with the four bedrooms. It was very clean. We enjoyed the backyard. It was nice to be near the water.
Enjoyed our stay at this property. Enough space for all of us. Big yard for games. Host generously provided plenty of paper products, salt/pepper, oil, sugar, etc. in the cupboard. Only disappointment was the beach, which was really not swimmable. Went across the lake to find a decent beach. Description does note weeds but we didn't expect it to be so unappealing. Fortunately the weather was not too hot so we mostly enjoyed other activities on land. We enjoyed the fire ring and watching the sun set every night.
Our daughter was getting married in the area. Perfect place to house our multi- generational group. Great outdoor gathering spaces and well equipped kitchen. Owner communication great!
The perfect place to hold our annual family vacation, as our family is growing in size each year! The hosts were quick to respond and even accommodated a special request to help us be as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend to other renters. Nice view of the lake and spacious house.

No
We had to wait for over an hour After check-in time to get access
Also it said they were five bedrooms and one of them wasn’t a real bedroom. It was sort of a hallway with a curtain
Very spacious place. Comfortably fit 9 people in the house. Neighbors were very nice and we were able to rent a boat from them. Would definitely stay again!
Only 2 things were a problem
1. In our group of 13 the 1500 gallon holding tank was inadaquate for a week stay
2. The listing showed 5 bedrooms - there are only 4
Spacious and lots of privacy with 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are masters. Huge TV in main living room was awesome. Huge comfy sectional reclining couch. Kitchen supplied well. Good water pressure. Easy to get to. Good parking area. Pretty view of lake. Cool barns across road.
Nice location right on the lake shore. Did look like it could have used a bit of cleaning prior to arrival. Lots of box elder bugs as well as lady bugs around the floor and in the light fixtures. Wife spent 45 minutes sweeping them up.
Had all the kitchen items we needed as well as good towels

Bug issue/2 minute showers
The house was great but we battled 1000’s and I mean thousands of box elder beetles and Asian beetles. On average we killed between 60-100 bugs each day in the house. There were thousands more attached to the outside of the house. We checked with both neighbors on each side and they did not have the same problem. Removing the box elder trees and treating the house would definitely prevent this problem. Also telling us not to flush except when you number 2 is crass. Saying it’s due to holding tank is incorrect as my home utilizes a holding tank. Limiting us to 2 minute showers are not possible when it takes 4 minutes for the water to heat up and most females can’t even get the soap out of their hair in 2 minutes. Good size house with plenty of seating but due to bugs won’t be coming back.
Perfect place to stay! Accomodations were perfect and the view was amazing! Very spacious and comfortable. The VRBO owners were fast to respond to any questions.
The house is spacious, clean, well equipped, and nicely furnished.
The lake, however, was unusable due to thick weeds and algae.
We drove to another lake to swim. Also the beach and yard were littered with goose droppings.

Disappointing vacation.
Heights of beds unsafe for children, unsanitary bathroom expectations, especially with COVID, rated for too many people with holding tank, no mattress covers-upon stripping beds when leaving, mattress was disgusting, beach is not taken care of—didn’t appear it has had upkeep all summer. Goose poop all over which we cleaned up. Fishing pontoon unsuitable for children. Very small bench for seating; would not have rented forExtreme amount had that been realized. Dirty dishes in very loose dishwasher, coffee grounds in coffee pot and Kureg not cleaned. Washed the dishes and didn’t use any rest of week. Didn’t use a lot of of water, as requested, but sure wasted a lot of paper products. Let’s just say our family will not rent again for the price paid. Most expensive VRBO we have rented and worst experience.
