Located in Waubaushene, ON, this four-season retreat welcomes you with a peaceful setting on the Sturgeon River, just a short paddle from Georgian Bay. From the moment you arrive, the stresses of everyday life begin to fade, replaced by the tranquil sounds of nature and the soothing sight of water gently flowing by. After an easy drive off Highway 400, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the beauty of cottage country, ready for a relaxing getaway.

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by an inviting open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, the perfect space to gather with loved ones. The cozy cottage accommodates up to 4 adults and 3 children comfortably, with additional options to host more guests if wanted (up to 6 adults & 4 additional children are welcome). The three bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged, each providing a peaceful retreat for families. Warm wood tones, tasteful decor, and a spacious layout create a comfortable atmosphere that invites you to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures, and a large sectional in the living room ensures everyone has a place to relax.

Outside, the magic of Sturgeon River Cottage truly shines. Two fire pits offer the perfect settings for roasting marshmallows under the stars, while the hot tub provides a luxurious way to warm up during cooler evenings. Spend your days lounging on the patio, playing yard games, or paddling down the river on the available kayak, paddleboat, or SUP. With its blend of peaceful surroundings, modern amenities, and opportunities for adventure, Sturgeon River Cottage is ready to become your home away from home, no matter the season.

Waterfront Sturgeon River is small, approximately 3 feet deep, with a sandy bottom. There are some weeds but it’s generally good for swimming.
