About this property

Welcome to a truly special lakefront experience on the shores of Deep Creek Lake. Located in a private community on a peninsula at the Northern end of the lake, our home offers peaceful relaxation far away from busy roads and traffic. Families with children or pets will especially appreciate the one lane road cul de sac location with no through traffic.

The property features almost 100 feet of western exposure lakefront in a quiet cove with a large private dock. The dock is ideal for relaxing on sunny days, fishing, or swimming. Please note that the dock is only available from Memorial Day through the end of September. Sunsets are spectacular with sunshine lasting into the late summer evening hours. After sunset, you'll enjoy using the fire pit near the lakes edge.

The house itself features a beautifully renovated kitchen and dining area with stainless steel appliances and maple cabinets. The house features a master bedroom with full bath, and two other bedrooms and a renovated hall bath, with beautiful ceramic tiles, new cabinetry and a jetted tub. The living room will evoke memories of classic lake lodges with its cathedral ceilings and stone fireplace and wonderful views of the secluded lakefront.

For the ultimate in relaxation, there is an outdoor hot tub with a wonderful view of the lake.

The house features a nice game room featuring a pool table, Smart TV and reclining sofa and chair. Across the front of the house is a large deck where you will enjoy barbecuing on the gas grill, dining outdoors on the patio furniture, or relaxing on the swing, all with a beautiful view of the lakefront and yard.

The house sleeps 8 people, offering 3 queen size beds, and a queen size futon. We accept credit cards and require one half of the rent in advance to confirm the booking. Access to nearby restaurants, arcades, state parks, skiing, and whitewater rafting are a close drive away.

Please note that from mid June through the end of August rentals are on a weekly basis. Check in is on Saturday and Check out the following Saturday.

Partial week rentals are available at all other times of the year.

Fantastic long weekend!

This is a great property in a secluded community along a quiet cove. Lots of space for adults (and kids if you want to bring them) without being unnecessarily large like so many of the places at Deep Creek Lake. We loved spending time outside on the deck and walking along the lake. There’s a great public walking path that starts at the community entrance and goes all the way up to the dam. We highly recommend it!

Great Stay

Great stay at Rob's place. Classic Deep Creek cabin feel. Plenty of space for our family. The house was nice and clean. Located on a very nice, smaller cove that is not very busy. Deep water there for your boat even after the lake level has been drawn down in the fall. Check with Rob, but the dock was still in the water the first weekend of October. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Place

My gf and I stayed here for an extended weekend and it was amazing. The property is beautiful and the house is so cozy! The owner’s were fantastic and were so accommodating. Such a beautiful place in the fall with all the leaves and a perfect place for a bonfire. The location is perfect on the lake and a great spot for all ages. 10/10

Great Stay

Our stay at Rob's was excellent. My only suggestion would be that for a rental property, a higher level basic cable capacity (including CNN, ESPN, etc) should be an automatic for a rental property. We had to use our computers to watch certain sports and news. Plus, the TV's in the unit were small and/or outdated and a larger flat screen TV should also be an automatic for renters.

July 4th Trip

The house was perfect for my young kids giving them access to the lake directly where they could swim and use the kayaks we brought. The house is located on the lake in a small cove which is nice so there isn't much boat traffic at all, making it safer for them to play. Overall the house was large enough to comfortably hold the entire family and have sit down meals. Would definitely do it again!

Wedding Anniversary

We had such a relaxing stay. It's exactly what we both needed. Hope to make it back next year, it was that relaxing. We were enjoying our 36th wedding anniverary and were blessed to have our dog Bella stay with us. It's a very dog friendly location. Everything was at the rental that we needed. We also rented a pontoon near by and had a great time seeing all of Deep Creek Lake. We went to several resturants. Try Pawn Run Bar & Kitchen, it's out of the way but worth it. All the resturants are worth a try though. Rob was easy to reach when needed, which wasn't often. Wish this place was our own.

Fantastic getaway!

The house was perfect! It had all that was needed for the several days we were there. The purpose was to relax and that was very easy to do. The home is inviting and the yard and fire pit was peaceful. Hot tub absolutely relaxing and loved being able to just stare out onto the lake. Can’t wait to go back next fall. Even better that our trip included the leaves being at their peak.

Most relaxing get away

House was better than pictured. Kitchen equiped with everything needed to make family meals. Outside grill was large, and perfect for grilling. Hot tub was clean and fit 6 of us comfortably, although it appeared to have a jet missing but still worked well. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was a little low but I know thats probable how it is for the area. Wifi was spotty, best reception was in living rooms. But this did allow our family to have great coversations especially by the fire pit. Only thing I would recomend was to update the livingroom TVs. Dock was great with chairs provided and was a truely a quiet area of the lake. I felt very relaxed and comfortable in your home.

Family Lake Vacation

We had a great time at Deep Creek! We spent many hours jumping on and swimming from the dock. We rented a boat for 4 of the days and having a deep water slip that was in a cove was great. We loved tubing in the late afternoon while most people were eating or returning their rentals. I wish we had a SUP. It was a great location for evening or early morning paddling. We enjoyed the multiple mama deer and their babies that came to eat crabapples multiple times per day. The house was well stocked and clean. Wifi worked great and my husband was able to attend a work meeting with no issues. The firepit, deck and grill were all nice a big to accomodate plenty of space and food! There were only 5 of us, but familes could easily grill for many more people. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful house on a great cove

This is our 3rd year renting this house and again it did not disappoint. The home is well stocked and situated on a great end of the lake in a great cove. The owner is very responsive to any questions or issues. We can’t wait to come back next summer!!

Great water quality with deep water which means not having to swim through lakebed vegetation. Western exposure for maximum sun in the late afternoon and evening hours.
