Lakefront hideaway success!

What an ideal spot on the lake! My husband and I planned a midweek getaway and this location was amazing. The cottage is cozy and cute, perfect for the two of us. A/C during the heat wave was a godsend. A jump in the lake in the morning from the dock was a real treat! Sunsets from the front deck were unforgettable!

Great little cottage on the lake!

A very quaint cottage with a BEAUTIFUL view. This cottage is super comfortable and cozy. It has an amazing porch right over the water. I came up to visit Onaway for an alumnae weekend and it was walkable to camp and convenient to both Pasquaney and Mowglis. A few things, there is a water filter in the sink but the hosts suggest using bottled water so make sure you bring some with you. The driveway is a bit precarious if you arrive at night so be careful and follow the directions closely. The twin room and full bath are actually in a separate building, which is not super clear on the listing, but it is also very nice and an easy hop over from the main cottage. I would (and plan to) stay here again whenever I can!

place with an amazing view! Cozy

We enjoyed our stay! There was only a couple of hiccups that no one would have expected. Water pump broke but the owner got the local plumber to fix it the next morning. Then the water heater broke, again the owner was right on top of it. Cozy place great views very quiet. A few stairs to get to dock. No sandy beach if that’s what someone is looking for. Excellent location near Bristol, Rumney and Plymouth. 2 houses was a plus. The second house has the full bath with twin beds and it’s own deck as well. Relaxing and slept great!

Small and secluded. Could not have asked for a better house and the location on the lake was great.

The house was small but was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. The two bed bunk house was great. Debbie was very nice to deal with and was very prompt in returning my emails with answers to any questions I had prior to our stay. The mooring for our boat was a big selling point as well. Met a few of Debbie's family members who were staying in the surrounding houses and they all were very pleasant. I would highly recommend renting this cottage and we are hoping to stay here again next summer. Thank you again Debbie!

What a hidden treasure this place is

Our stay was perfect! We could not have asked for better weather or the view of New Found Lake. What a hidden treasure this place is. I also came across the book "The Last Dance" and had time to read it. What an amazing woman Susan Mclane was and her family.

Charming retreat

The perfect place to get away from it all. Cozy, comfortable and quiet. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck, which is very close to the water and watching the boats go by. The sunsets were beautiful. The firework displays around the lake for the July 4th celebration were an added bonus. We definitely will plan to visit this cottage again.

Romantic Hideaway on Scenic Newfound Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found this truly romantic hideaway well equipped and absolutely delightful! The bunk house offers privacy for guests and even had its own coffee maker! We were sorry to see the week come to an end and look forward to another stay!

PEACEFUL ~

I stayed for three nights, and wished it were for a LOT LONGER.... I LOVED the fact that I didn't even have to get out of bed, to see the view of the water!!! and the bed is comfy! I picked this out, for the sunset view, and it was amazing, over the water! I never left other then to attend a party I had planned on, and I just didn't have enough time there!~ I was happy to sit out on the deck and read, watch the water skiers and sail boarders on the water...it's a very PRIVATE, and cozy place!

Outstanding getaway

This cottage is truly exceptional! It is nestled on the shores of Newfound Lake and offers outstanding water views and swimming off the private dock. It is fully equipped and feels like a home away from home. Even though there are a number of restaurants in the area, nothing can compare with a dinner on the patio watching the sun set across the lake. A gem!!
