Great communication with owner.
Home as listed. All bedrooms are on the second level. Beds sit very low to the ground so that maybe for some.
might be a problem
The property was perfect for four adult couples. Separate bedrooms for everyone with air conditioners. Plus an upstairs loft. The backyard was small, but nice enough for games and a bonfire. Plenty of chairs provided. Big indoor table for eating and games. Close to some nice state parks for hiking. Could use some additional trash cans in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Overall, a great stay.
Nicely updated historic home, close to conveniences.
We had 4 families here for a weekend sporting event, and the home had everything we needed.
Loved the fire pit in the backyard and the games and cards provided.
Kitchen was well equipped. Parking was plentiful
Only downside were the noisy beds and squeaky floors.
The property was perfect for our little party as there were plenty of room for a baby and two toddlers to run around and play. The floors creaked A LOT which was unfortunate to walk on but it looks like they are remodeling and will get to it eventually. We felt like the floors could have been better cleaned especially in the kitchen area since our socks were pretty dirty when we first walked in that area. The driveway/alley and parking situation was a little confusing. We were a little irritated the host messaged me and called us out when family who dropped by to visit us for like 30 min or so parked on the "grass". The wi-fi was very spotty and kept going in and out. The location was perfect for our trip to Bentleyville and the Christmas Train at The Depot as it was not too far or too close. Host was very communicative and responds quickly to questions. Overall, our party agreed that it was a wonderful place to stay and with a couple minor improvements, it would be amazing.
The stay and property met and exceeded our expectations. We will be staying there again next time we are in Superior. It was a great place for a bigger group and we could play games and relax together. Thank you!!! Highly recommend!!
We really liked this property. It is a work in progress.
It had lots of room for our group of 10. The full bathrooms are big and remodeled. The third floor bathroom did have a mirror, but it wasn’t hung and there were no towel racks. There was not a working light switch to climb the stairs but there was a bulb with a pull chain. The second floor had a big cabinet with plenty of linens for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped and remodeled. We purchased a dish cloth because there wasn’t one there. It has a lovely large table but not enough chairs for 10 people and not enough forks for 10 people.
It has a large mud room/laundry room with hooks for coats and a long bench for storage.
The floor plan is great.
We enjoyed our time. Carrie is very responsive.

I love these older homes they have so much character and had lots of space. We loved how the washer and dryer where right when you walked in.All around it was just perfect and a beautiful place.Looking forward to coming there again.
This property was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had two families staying there and didn't run out of space or privacy. the driveway went all the way through so no cars were blocked by another. Will stay again wine visiting my hometown.
Definitely a redo to come back to this property! The pictures do not do it justice. Huge beautiful old house. Clean, spacious, great communication with owner. Easy check in and check out process.
Overall a good experience. Unfortunately the house had an “old cigarette smoke”/musty smell, which was a bit discomforting. The updates were nice and can tell owners are trying to nicely fix up place,
Great place for a large family or group to stay near duluth. Nice quite neighborhood.

Spacious and Quiet, but a work in progress
As advertised. Spacious and clean... Kitchen was excellent. But other parts of the house and clearly a work in progress. No central A/C, so on warm days and nights, the upper floor was quite warm and uncomfortable for sleeping.
The communication with Carrie was only what was required for check in and check out.
Overall, it was okay.... when fully renovated, it will be much nicer.

Our group of seven women loved our stay at this beautiful older home. The kitchen and bathrooms are newly remodeled and up to date, yet the home still has the original beautiful old stairway and woodwork throughout the house. We loved sitting on the large front porch in the evenings. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and other supplies. Quiet neighborhood.
Beautiful, well taken care of, and updated Victorian style house. Convenient location right off Tower avenue provides easy access to numerous bars and restaurant. Would absolutely recommend this listing to others.
Our family group includes three adults and six kids, ages 6-12. They sleeping arrangements were great: good beds, nice bedding, and the window a/c did a great job with the heatwave.
We didn’t use the kitchen much but it is brand new with really nice appliances. I’d recommend (August 2020) more dishware, especially because the house can hold so many. There’s a big grocery just a few blocks away so it’s easy to stock up.
The living spaces are very comfortable. The Smart TV is easy to use and the internet is high quality so the kids had plenty to entertain them when we needed it. We were glad to have the laundry available and grateful that all the supplies were provided.
During our stay (summer ‘20) the exterior of the house was still under renovation but if it eventually matches the quality of the interior, this place will be even better.
All in all, this was a great place for us to stay in the Duluth/Superior area.
Lots of room for all 10 of us and the house was nice and clean. It's an older house but the inside was modern and cozy. Carrie was available when I contacted her. The only thing was the trash can outside was super full when we arrived so we had to leave some trash bags/bottles on the back porch area.
