Welcome to Sunset Paradise, where the only thing more relaxing than the lake breeze is the sunset view! Whether you're planning a family adventure or a couple's retreat, this cozy lakeside gem near Bayfield, Ontario, is ready to deliver all the chill vibes and fun times. Picture this: lazy mornings sipping coffee on the deck, afternoons exploring the beach, and evenings gathered around the campfire under a sky full of stars. Sound good? We thought so!
INSIDE
The main floor features an open-concept layout that’s airy and bright, with a wall of windows that flood the space with natural light. Sink into the comfy couches by the gas fireplace, the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The dining area is great for meals and doubles as a game table for those competitive family game nights. The large, modern kitchen is perfect for cooking up your favorite dishes, and the big island is where everyone naturally gathers for snacks, drinks, and lots of laughs—it’s the heart of the cottage!
Upstairs, the Premier Ensuite is your private hideaway, complete with a Juliet balcony where you can catch the lake breeze. There’s even a cozy seating area with a Smart TV—perfect for movie nights.

Step through the sliding patio doors from both main-floor bedrooms and out onto the expansive deck, where you’ll find plenty of space for lounging or diving into a good book. There's a dining area under a shady umbrella, perfect for alfresco meals. And let’s not forget the propane BBQ—your secret weapon for mastering cottage cookouts! Whether you're flipping burgers or grilling veggies, it’s all about that delicious smoky flavor.
The large yard is made for bocce ball, croquet, or just soaking up the fresh air. And when the evening cools down, gather around the Adirondack chairs at the campfire with a view of the lake—there’s nothing like roasting marshmallows under the stars!
When you're ready for a lakeside adventure, the nearest lake access is just a short stroll away. It’s the perfect spot for a quick swim or a relaxing beach walk.
Approx. 60 stairs lead down to the beach. Access is down the road to the North-see photos
NOTE: The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Max occupancy at all times is 7, violation will result in removal without refund. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections. May have outdoor camera)
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles.
