Great location, spacious older style property, had eveyrthing you needed. Lovely sitting on the balcony and wathcing the birds, very friendly parrots !
Our family had a great stay. Nice and close to hiking/mtb trails, and close to main street as well. The house was good too, with nice bedrooms and lounge. Bathroom was small and dark but otherwise ok.
The chalet was in a secluded spot, not too far from the town centre. It had a rustic feel and was clean and tidy. A great place to stay if you are looking for something simple and quiet.
Good location
Manager communications very good and replaced microwave on request
Property is quite dated but beds are comfortable
Could do with a dish washing brush & laundry basket!
This property was perfect for showing our son’s Japanese host family around the Margaret River region. The bird life in the trees around the cottage was a bonus. We enjoyed family meals together on the balcony - Australian / Japanese fusion. Would definitely recommend this property for families.
This chalet was great for us - 2 friends with 2 teenagers.
It is simple but has everything you'll need for a stay.
Not sure if it has internet so worth checking with the owner.
My family and I had a nice stay, the place could be cleaner for sure, maybe so new sheets are needed as there is bleach stain on some of them, the mattresses definitely need to be renewed. A Wi-Fi could be a plus for international travelers, my bad for not paying attention before. A table at the back outside would be nice as the balcony is a bit small, we were 4 so it was kind of okay but if we were one more person we would not be able to enjoy eating outside. It's probably a nice place to stay one or two nights, but could use more features for people staying longer. We still had a great time anyway
We had a lovely stay at this property but we were only there for 2 nights and not expecting too much. The location is great (15 Minute walk to the town centre) and the host was great with good coms. However, the property itself is tired and run down: Mould in Shower, ill fitting old kitchen, thick dust at back of shelves etc. Also the layout is not great and cooking and 5 adults eating together is difficult. Also, we had 2 seniors with us and they struggled with the many varnished stairs somewhat. But on two huge plus points for us, we had 28s (very colourful Parrots) landing on the balcony to wake us up in the morning and then 3 Possoms climbing the tree next to the balcony in the evening both of which were wonderful to see.
-Good location
-Comfortable, straightforward
-Everything as described
-living room a bit dark but didn’t matter as outside enjoying margs all day!
- only upgrade we would recommend is wifi!
Property as expected, nice n tidy, walking distance to town, comfy couch, good TV, just right as a base camp for adventures in the area. If there was oil for BBQ, that would have been better :-)
