Guest House on Grove - short walk to Nelson city centre
Welcome to Guest House on Grove, a stylish two-bedroom retreat in the heart of Nelson. Located in the peaceful suburb of The Wood, you’ll be within walking distance to the city center and have easy access to everything Nelson has to offer. Enjoy scenic walks along the Maitai River, visit the vibrant Nelson Market, and hike up to the Centre of New Zealand. With its prime location and high-quality amenities, the Guest House offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and privacy.
The Space
Accommodating up to four people, the property is situated on the second floor of our family home, accessible via an external staircase only. You'll have the entire second floor to yourself for full privacy (75m²) .
Bedroom 1: king bed, living room, smart TV
Bedroom 2: super king bed, smart TV.
Main Bathroom: shower, motion-sensor lighting, heated towel rails, underfloor heating, & complimentary toiletries. There are two entrances.
Kitchen: fully equipped with Nespresso coffee machine, selection of hot beverages, and basics staples. No dishwasher.
Laundry: washing machine & dryer.
Please note:
• No outdoor area is available, but the great location offers plenty to explore nearby.
• Free off-street parking is available upon request.
• Convenient self-check-in and check-out.
• No smoking, vaping, events, parties, or pets allowed.
• External Security Camera is present on the property.

We chose this property due to its unbeatable location. The Wood is a peaceful neighborhood that’s within walking distance of everything. From our place, you can easily stroll to local cafes, restaurants, shops, and the famous Saturday market. The Maitai River is just around the corner, and the iconic Centre of New Zealand walk starts nearby, offering stunning views of the city. We love how convenient it is to explore the area and we’re excited to share this fantastic location with our guests.
