Part of a duplex, this 2BR/2BA upstairs unit is the perfect place for a vacation full of fun in the sun. Your rental offers wonderful views of Four Prong Lake from the private balcony, a charming interior, and access to a community pool.

A convenient pedestrian tunnel takes you straight to the sparkling waters of the Emerald Coast.

LIVING AREA

After fun-filled days at the beach or pool, unwind on the queen-size sleeper sofa or love seat and watch a new movie on the 48” flat-screen TV with Roku.

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up delectable meals in the sparkling kitchen, which offers a full suite of stainless steel appliances.

When it’s time to eat, dine at the four-person table.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This rental sleeps up to seven guests between the two bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area.

Sleep soundly in the tranquil master suite, furnished with a king-size bed and 32” flat-screen TV. An en-suite bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

The second bedroom is furnished with a twin-over-queen bunk bed, a twin-size bed, and a TV. The guest bathroom is fitted with a tub/shower combination. (upper twin bunk is reserved for guests under 120 pounds).

OUTDOOR AREAS

Sip morning coffee on the private balcony and enjoy the views of Four Prong Lake. Villa also has a second balcony that is off of the two bedrooms with a peek-a-boo view of the beach.

Enjoy sunny days by the community pool. Pool has private restroom facilities and outdoor shower. After swimming, fire up the shared charcoal grills for an afternoon cookout.

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and unassigned parking for two cars in the parking area in front of the unit.

This upstairs unit is accessed via a flight of stairs.

THE LOCATION

A 1-minute stroll takes you to the community pool, and a 3-minute walk through the pedestrian tunnel leads to the sparkling Emerald Coast-no roads to cross! Rent a golf cart, bikes, or scooters to easily navigate the plethora of shops and cafes along Scenic Highway 98.

Walking distance to many restaurants including The Crab Trap, Kenny D's, Captain Dave's, 790 on the Gulf and Pompano Joe's.

For a day of family fun, pay a visit to Big Kahuna Waterpark. For golf lovers, enjoy multiple prominent courses located nearby. Shoppers can find bargains at the outlet stores or find a unique item at Destin Commons. Also close to a Publix and Winn-Dixie for stocking up on essentials.

Needs Some TLC

First let me start off by saying the location and property were great. We loved the floor plan and it fit our family perfect. The only problem we had was it was a little run down. The larger couch was almost unusable as it was collapsed which made it very uncomfortable to sit on. The place was a bit dirty upon arriving. The dishes had to be washed again as the smelled very musty. It late in the rental season so I’m sure things get broken or dirty during the heavy rental season so we kinda understood. It wasn’t so bad that we wouldn’t stay there again but just think the place needs some TLC during the off-season.

Great location, unit just ok

We had a great trip and the location of this property was great. The unit was not very clean and can really use a deep cleaning. The chairs on the balcony were completely rusted and my husband fell through one. The management company told the next guests they could get the place early for their stay but did not tell us this so as we were packing up to leave they came in the unit. There is virtually no sound barrier to the until downstairs so be prepared to feel like you are sharing space with others. The heated pool is under construction, which we were not informed of. This was one of the main reasons I booked this place because I knew weather could be tricky in March. Thankfully we were given the code to the destiny east property but I know not everyone had this information. Location was the best part of this vacation. I would not book this unit again.

Great location! Amazing for young families!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We were missing parking permits the first day we arrived, but the management company was very responsive and helped meet our needs. Location was amazing! It’s close proximity to the beach allowed my young ones to enjoy the beach with multiple visits in one day. Highly recommend!

Great Location!

For us, this property could not have been in a better location. You had the spectacular views on your back balcony of the lake and the peacefulness of that experience. And, the beach was about a 3 minute walk out your front door across the street. We would rent here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was just perfect for our family of 5. Easy access to the beach through the pedestrian tunnel and also close enough to walk to some great restaurants. Great communication with owner and he helped us out on things not related to the rental as well. We sure hope to be able to visit again!! Would definitely recommend!

The property is maybe a 4-5 min walk across the street to the gorgeous beaches of Destin. Walking distance (maybe 1/2 mile for some) to several restaurants. Great walking/biking path right out front, and backs up to the lake to bird/turtle watch. Owner is highly responsive and checked in to make sure things were going well and make sure our needs were met and we didn’t have any other questions.

Lovely place to stay

This was such a lovely place to stay in a really convenient part of Destin. So close to the beach and quick to get to many local restaurants. The owner was kind enough to share recommendations of where to rent a golf cart and bicycles which we were very happy with. The unit was clean and comfy and appeared just as it was in the pictures. Mark is an amazing host, he communicates very well and fast with his guest. The house is well located. You literally have everything in less than 15 minutes. My family and I enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait to come back soon.

Our home is unique because the upstairs (vrbo 2009107) and downstairs (vrbo 2035883) (can be rented alone or together) are identical. So perfect for a smaller family or a few couples or rent the entire thing for a family reunion!
Our home has one of the best locations in Destin. You are close to so many things, many by foot. Our home also back to four prong lake so you feel private and have lovely views and amazing sunsets!

What makes this property unique

Our home is a great value when you want to be near the beach, not have to get in the car to grab dinner but want to avoid the high beachfront rates. Enjoy!
