Was ok a bit far from amenities though didn't actually sta
Didn't actually stay there longer than 4 hour I lost my partner last year hoping to have a chilling break and my 16 year old son had a breakdown over is mother not being with us so packed my bags and came home I couldn't console him so thought it was the rite thing to do under the circumstances
We visited friends, this was perfect for us to rest and refresh after days out. Clean, nicely done, and private. A lot of thought went into the extras, coffee, tea and snacks gave us a wide choice . Towels were plush. Nice stay overall.
Lovely little room with small en-suite.
Clean and comfy on the inside. The outside could do with some attention as it did make my heart sink when I arrived, but the inside was lovely.
Lois was the perfect host - very friendly but not overly so, just how I like it.
Great central point for visiting local villages and gardens.
Initially everything seemed fine but without central heating it felt cold and nowhere to dry off towels. There was a portable heater available. The simple breakfast was more suited to a family. Cereal selection for children. A couple of fresh bread buns with boiled eggs or cheese left at door would be better. Fresh juice not Juice drink would be better. But for the price good selection of snack type things available. A bowl of fresh fruit would be better.
Very nice, tidy and clean room with en-suite shower room. Generous buffet style breakfast with cereals, bars, yoghurts etc.
Lois, the host, was friendly and communicated very well. Would happily book again if/when we plan another trip to the area.

Lovely stay! Would highly recommend if you want somewhere quiet and comfortable.
Easy to book. Easy to find location. Very well kept property. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet location, short walk to Charlestown & beach, pubs & restaurants. Lois is very friendly, welcoming, attentive host. Room has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. A+++
We stayed here in St Austell after the long horrendous pandemics and found it a breath of fresh air to visit such a lovely part of Cornwall. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, Lois had provided lots of refreshments which we were most thankful for! She had even put the heating on for us after arriving back late on a very rainy day spent outside and was there should we need anything at all. The harbour and beach are not far from the accommodation and we spent a good few evenings walking around these and it was an easy bus journey to both the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Eden. Lots of places to eat too. e thoroughly enjoyed our short but sweet stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice Cornish get-a-way! Thank you Lois.
Lovely room with ensuite, only a 15 minute walk from Charlestown Harbour. Very clean, host was very friendly, ideal for our needs. Would 100% stay here again. 🙂
Stayed here for my 21st birthday holiday and it was perfect. Not only is it a great location near a the lovely beach and harbour but has the added benefit of a comfortable, private, spotless ensuite room and off street parking. Lois was lovely and provided more than we expected.
Would definitely stay again if we go back to Cornwall!
Comfy room in a quiet road . 5 mins drive from 2 lovely beaches
Just the right size for 2 people. Plenty of storage space.. My partner has better eyes than me and thought bathroom and shower could have been a bit cleaner in the corners.
A slightly bigger fridge would have been nice (especially with freezer compartment for our ice packs) and maybe a microwave to save having to eat out all the time. As the supermarket was so close for buying ready meals. Breakfast provided was great. Lots of choice of cereals but a toaster would also have been good.
Lovely host, very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Helpful with advice for places to visit, amongst other tips. Accommodation suited our needs perfectly. Room was clean and comfortable. Would certainly recommend to other potential customers.
Came across this lovely B&B while looking for a cottage . Would highly recommend ....during the stay it’s comfortable Clean and charming hoist, (Lois) parking right outside ,breakfast included as well as WiFi and other small personal thinks . Thank you for are short stay ..
