Unplug and relax in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.. At Sawdust City Sands there is a fully equipped kitchen if you would like to make your own meals, a gas barbecue to do some outdoor cooking, the boathouse restaurant at Taboo Resort is just steps away, or a 5 minute car ride brings you everything from fast food to fancy dining. Bring your family and explore. The cottage is set up for a family. Room for 6 or two couples the twin beds that can be pushed together if you want a second double bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with black out curtains so you wake up when you are ready, or have a nap in darkness. A large soaker tub where you can definitely unwind, and not to worry there is a second bathroom so you don't need to fear being interrupted. Spend some time on the trails, minutes to the Taboo golf course or grab a ticket for a tour around Lake Muskoka on the famous steamships. In the summer just float on the water or in the winter bring your sled and jump on the trails. Lots to do and not too far away. Algonquin park is an hour away if you want to do day trips. Music at the local theatre and in season amazing bands at Bala, or 30 minuets from Casino Rama if you want to catch a show.

After a tree fell on the cottage, we thought it was about time to enlarge the space so our renter could stay and allow us and other people to enjoy the beauty the cottage has to offer. That is why you will find our long term friend in the other side of the duplex. There if you need him but will not bother you if that's your desire.

The small enclave of cottages enjoy the perks of a beautiful private beach on Muskoka Lake. In the hight of summer you can watch the steamships in the distance as you enjoy a float in the shallow part of the lake that is great for small children.
