Te Whare iti (The Little House) is a freshly renovated 2 bedroom cabin on a rural lifestyle property in New Plymouth. You will enjoy comfortable, modern accommoation just 2 minutes from the nearest grocer and cafe ... and 10 minutes from the CBD.
Te Whare iti looks out on paddocks, native trees and a glimpse of the Taranaki coastline. This private stand-alone cabin is safe, child and pet friendly, off-street parking.
Kitchenette, full-bathroom, TV, microwave, two element hot plate, Weber BBQ (available upon request), small fridge and broadband internet. Can sleep up to 4. Fully insulated with double-glazing. The property is also home to a dog, cat, chickens, a handful of sheep and a couple of Kune Kune pigs.
Portacot and access to washer and dryer in the main house (for longer stays) is available upon request. There is a small playground in the paddock area next to the cabin.

We are Mel and Tim Brown. Originally both born and raised in New Plymouth, we moved back here from Auckland 2 years ago for the quieter lifestyle ... it's a great place to raise a young family. We have a 5 and 3 year old. We love our little "slice of paradise" on the Brownlea lifestyle property - all the perks of rural living just 10 minutes from town. Our property is also home to 12 sheep, 6 chickens, 3 Kune Kune pigs and our Spoodle Eva.
Why they chose this property
All of New Plymouth is within easy travelling distance - from the ocean, to the park to the mountain. What we love about Hurworth and our spot up Frankley Road, is that we enjoy "country living", yet can be at the beach or CBD in 10 - 15 minutes.
What makes this property unique
Brownlea has a special feel - a glimpse of the ocean, native trees, bush and birds, tranquil paddocks. On a still morning or evening, there's nothing better than enjoying the sights and sounds with a beverage and the rising or setting sun.
