About this property
Country cottage 10 minutes to Tamworth - pet friendly!
Enjoy uninterrupted views of the Great Dividing Range in this beautifully restored 50-year-old cottage, a mere 10-minute drive to the bustling regional city of Tamworth.
Set on 25-pristine acres, The Bothy enjoys gorgeous tree-lined views across our paddocks. Glimpse kangaroos grazing at dusk in the paddocks outside, and say hello to our ponies over the gate!
The Bothy is thoughtfully designed to encompass everything you need for a cosy and peaceful stay.
Two bedrooms each boast a Queen bed, with quality linen and towels. The stylish, modern bathroom is newly renovated, alongside a full and comprehensive kitchen.
WFH with fast Starlink Wi-Fi, snuggle on the couch with Netflix or kick back with a local brew around the fire pit under a night sky blazing with stars.
The cottage's yard is fully secure to house those travelling with their fur babies. We ask that guests check with us before booking and to keep all dogs on leads outside the cottage's yard to protect our livestock.
The cottage is plumbed with drought-friendly, non-potable bore water; however, plenty of fresh, twice-filtered rainwater is supplied for drinking. There is a large ceramic water filter on the bench top filled with rainwater, and a filtered jug in the fridge.
Our valley does not have good phone service and as such you may not have phone service at The Bothy. However the WI-FI is excellent and you can make phone calls/send text messages over WI-FI.
We stock a basic pantry that includes: A Nespresso pod machine, black and herbal teas, salt, pepper & olive oil. There is also a coffee plunger and a teapot.
A portacot and highchair can be made available on request.

About the host
Hosted by Emily Humphreys

I am a local girl, and I love meeting our guests who come to enjoy our slice of paradise. We love our horses and having space to move and enjoy nature. We take our hosting cues from our guests - you can interact and meet our horses and dogs, or stay as private as you like!
Why they chose this property
We live here to be near our family and enjoy the country life. We love having space for our horses, dogs and family!
What makes this property unique
25 pristine acres with views of the Great Dividing Range, we feel utterly remote, yet we're an easy and peaceful 10-minute drive to the city'd CBD. We feel blessed to enjoy the best of both worlds - quick access to Tamworth and all of its wonderful resources, yet quiet and serene.
