Charming Artist Bungalow with Tropical Garden
Home of Aroha - Māori for love - is a charming 1920’s two bedroom bungalow, generously sized w/ open plan kitchen/dining & separate lounge w/ super long sofa & TV.
Cosy warm winters with central gas heating and a large north-facing deck for summers, set in a lush subtropical garden in central Auckland.
Nestled in Sandringham, alongside the lively Kingsland & Morningside precincts, this location offers convenience & vibrancy.

The two bedroom home is unique with art adorning the walls, and well preserved features such as high ceilings and polished floors.
Super fast fibre Wifi available and TV with chrome cast module in the lounge. For digital nomads there is a convenient sun room with desk, providing space for remote working.
Both bedrooms are well-appointed with heating, venetian blinds, ample wardrobe and drawer space. Beds are made up with triple sheets and electric blankets are provided for those who like to keep toasty warm.
The bathroom has original features, a separate shower with good pressure and a deep and long cast iron bath. The convenience of a second separate toilet adds to your comfort. Eco friendly soap, shampoo and conditioner is provided.
The open plan kitchen is fully equiped with oven, dishwasher and cooking essentials. Kitchen basics such as some herbs & spices, sugar, tea and cleaning products are supplied.
Enjoy al fresco dining - with a subtropical garden outlook - on the deck at the rear of the property with built in seating and sun umbrella.
Just a short walk to Eden Park & St Lukes Mall, which includes a supermarket & food court.
Convenient for exploring the city, parks, motorways, and day trips to the west and east coast beaches.
Guests have exclusive use of the house, & the back deck.
The property owners who regularly travel, reside in the studio at the rear of the property when in New Zealand. You may see them come and go on the driveway, through the gate, and garden paths at the rear of the home. Rest assured, your privacy and enjoyment during your stay are of utmost importance to them, and they are committed to respecting guest privacy.
Strictly no groups, filming, events or partying.
No smoking/vaping inside the property.
We kindly ask you to leave the house as you find it and respect our property and neighbours. Incidents, accidents & breakages to be reported so we can rectify in a timely manner.
For long stays, a bi-weekly or monthly clean with fresh linen is available at an additional cost, please enquire.
