The Hamptons At Marengo

Light filled, North-East facing spacious 4 bedroom home in an idyllic setting.
The Hamptons at Marengo is set on 2.5 acres of established gardens and lawns, located at Marengo and between the Great Ocean Road and the Southern Ocean.
The sandstone home is all on one level, and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the aspect and views to Apollo Bay, Marengo and the surrounding hills. Off a central entry point, there are two wings of the house, with rooms leading onto a front timber deck stretching along the entire length of the house.

Enter in the house to the open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, island bench, breakfast bar, cooking equipment and serving ware. A 10 seat dining table provides the space for your holiday meals together, or take it outside on the deck with a dining table setting enjoying the open air and views. Inside, an adjoining sitting room has a wall of books, and double doors opening onto the deck. Further on this wing are two bedrooms, the main bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet, and laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

At the other wing of the house is the main living area with comfy leather couches positioned around a wood fire and TV. A passage goes to the singles bedroom and on to the main bedroom, which is a large room plus ensuite bathroom with shower, and walk in wardrobe. Tiled floors with underfloor heating are throughout the home, except for the bedrooms which are carpeted. There are electric wall heaters in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and a Bose sound system through the main living area. Please note there is no air conditioning in the house.

There is plenty of room for car parking on the gravel driveway outside the house.
