The property was great for a family getaway with adults ranging from age 50-86. Very well stocked and lots of room, Spacious bedrooms and the 3 bathrooms were great. The pier was also handy for us to leave our boats in the water and go for a cruise or fishing whenever we wanted.
The home was perfect for four couples. A nice pier for our fishing boats. And caught nice panfish. The home and kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Being on the end of dead end road, the home was peaceful.
House was perfect for our family to have their own space. Everything was as described in the listing and clean when we arrived. Went kayaking and had fires in evening. Got quick responses on any questions we had.
House worked well for extended family group of 8. Some in my group have high expectations so it was a little dirty for their tastes but overall the property is great. Didn’t think we’d like being on the channel but it turned out keeping us out of the wind which is nice. Owner was extremely attentive to any questions or needs we had.
beautiful home on lake spacious quiet. Host responded promptly when texted. It rained quite a bit so not able to get out on lake as much as we liked to but house very comfortable we had a wonderful time. We will be coming back next year.

We stayed for a week in August and really enjoyed the cabin. It was very well stocked and we had everything we needed, and there was plenty of open cupboard space for us to put our food! The mattresses were comfortable. We brought two fishing boats and caught enough fish for a fish fry. Since we could not swim by the pier, we drove about 8 miles to the closest public beach, which was in Sugar Camp. Having the 2 kayaks was great, as well as access to the garage, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a terrific week!
Three generations enjoyed this lovely home on the Sugar Camp chain. Peaceful setting, comfortable beds, very nice amenities and everything we needed and more for kitchen use and outdoor/indoor fun. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and eagle watching along with stargazing around the campfire! Thank you!
It was beautiful, open, perfect. It had everything we needed. It felt inviting and the hosts were generous. We had the best time. Great job. I would higly recommend to anyone. Thank you.
Very nice house & location. All rooms are comfortable and the kitchen was really well stocked if you wanted to cook or grill. The owners were very responsive to any questions. We had a great time.
We really enjoyed r stay @ this place. Plenty of room inside & outside. We had ample room 2 gather in the open area upstairs for meals & games & movies. The backyard is great with a view of the water & a huge fire pit with plenty of firewood. Remote setting but not 2 far away from Eagle River, Minnocqua, & St Germain where we also had some fun. We appreciated the extras that came along with it like plenty of outdoor furniture, games, & cooking equipment. Inside had a well supplied kitchen, ample paper goods, plenty of towels & beddings, games 4 young & adults. I could probably go on & on but I think u get the idea. I would recommend this place to any who r wondering about it. It will make 4 a gr8 vacation!
The property is great with dock/lake access to Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes (Sand Lake). 15 minute drive to Eagle River, 10 minutes to St. Germain, 10 minutes to Sugar Camp. House is loaded with amenities including kayaks, fire ring w/firewood, A/C, Wi-Fi, TVs, and gas fireplace,. Very comfortable, lots of fun, great for a larger group (4 bedrooms with 5 queen+ beds).
This property was great! It was very well stocked, plenty of room, and many things to do. The Zoo was fantastic, plenty of stores and restaurants, and the kids had a great time at the beach. Will definitely do this again.
This property is outstanding. It is situated at roughly the same distance to Rhinelander, St Germain, and Eagle River. The owners have a beautiful, secluded spot on a large channel connecting to a chain of sizeable lakes. The weeds are a little dense, so bringing or renting a smaller boat is probably better. We rented a 22-foot pontoon for our group; accessing the channel is feasible but a little weedy and mucky if you aren't careful. The house itself is really nicely laid out, exceedingly well kept, and very well stocked. Honestly, the owners have everything including ample firewood, plenty of camping chairs, plenty of supplies and towels, etc. We definitely overpacked. We would definitely stay again. This was an excellent value and the perfect vacation spot for a large family or a few small families.
The property was clean, nice layout for our group of 6, the kitchen was big and laid out nicely to help us be able to cook and hang out. Bathrooms were nice and major plus was basement hangout room our teenage son was in heaven playing video games for a day and not bugging his little sister! Loved that we could park in the garage as the area got snow everyday we were there. The only down fall was it was a little challenging to keep the basement temperature steady, but didn’t ruin anything. If you are coming to fish in the winter be aware you will not be able to do it from this location, wasn’t a problem for us as the boys were want to fish a different lake that didn’t have house’s we were able to rent. Nice place and would stay again!
Plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 kids, plenty of firewood, the house was clean and had everything we needed there. We brought our own boats which was nice and easy to get to the boat landing. Not the best fishing by the dock but everyone (even the kids) caught fish! It was peaceful and relaxing! We all enjoyed our stay!
Great place for a family outing, very spacious, big bedrooms, upper and lower level bathrooms. Not far from lots of activities for every age group. 2 year old granddaughter saw everything from a giraffe, tigers, baby frogs and even a baby snapping turtle. We enjoyed Eagle River, Rhinelander and Minonqua.
The place was awesome . Location of this cottage is perfect it is at the end of a cul de sac quiet and relaxing . Owner was easily accessible when we had questions . Overall great time.
The place was VERY clean with up-to-date and clean kitchen equipment. The owner provided a lot of basic things, like paper towels, trash bags, and laundry detergent. I am somebody who travels with bed sheets and towels for everybody, but I was comfortable using the ones the owner provided for everything was well organized and in good condition. With that said, the beds were comfortable and its spaces were well divided to be able to "spread" family members around. It had three BIG flat-screen TVs and we never had any problems with the WI-FI connections. The outdoor area was well maintained and organized, with kayak racks with two kayaks, a variety of life jackets, firepit, wood, big grill, outdoor chairs, etc. It provided a very serene ambiance. It had a very convenient dock, but grassy. You needed to go out to one of the main lakes to swim and fish. The property is located around 20 minutes from town. It seems longer because there is so much wildlife roaming around that we didn't dare to drive faster than 20 miles an hour. We even saw a bald eagle eating its "recently caught" meal by the side of the road! Definitely an excellent place to rent if you value quality.
Eagle River family retreat and 60th wedding anniversary celebration
We had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were exactly as described. The owner was very helpful and prompt in addressing any questions we had. Nana and Poppa loved the opportunity to visit with all the grandkids.
