Zen Airstream Experience

Get ready for the Zen Airstream Experience! Located in a lovely, safe and quiet neighborhood. The trailor is in excellent condition, the space provides a private enclosed courtyard with an outdoor bathroom and spa. There is a very comfortable Queen sized bed and a pull out bed in the couch. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee and Continental Breakfast in the courtyard, a beautiful free standing fire place and relaxing spa in the evening. Everything is kept extra clean, cozy and convenient for you. Guests will have a parking spot and a private entrance into the courtyard. We look forward to meeting you!

The space
Upon check-in after 3:00 pm, I will be there to greet you if you arrive before 10:00 pm. I can also be reached by text. Parking will be at the top of our driveway in front of the entrance. Either before or upon your arrival I will familiarize you with the Airstream and the private space where you will be enjoying your stay. Since my family home is shared on the surrounding property, you will undoubtedly see my other family members during your stay but we will respect your privacy at all times. We also respectfully request that our guests be reasonably quiet and considerate for the sake of our neighbors. There is a two burner stove and microwave in the trailer where we allow light cooking but we request all heavy meals including meat or fish be prepared with the outdoor BBQ. If you would like to borrow a cooler, boogie boards or towels for the beach we would be happy to provide them for your use.

Please keep in mind that this space was originally made for 2 adults but 3 adults or older children welcome. The courtyard has many succulents, prickly cactus and loose decorative rocks that make the area beautiful and artistic but is not very good for small children and no pets allowed.

Awesome airstream stay

A serene location that seems like you're far from the city but only about 15 minutes away from the ocean and downtown. The airstream was very clean and cozy with plenty of little spots to store away luggage and items. The private yard was gorgeous and made for a relaxing stay.

The physical space is creative and inviting. The airstream is cozy and comfy; breakfast snacks adequate to get the day started. We enjoyed the hot tub and garden--a relaxing 48 hours. Thank you!

Great Retreat Close to Attractions

We loved everything about our stay. We slept great and found the location convenient (20 minute drive to zoo, old town, mission trails, etc.) Loved the yard space and main bathroom. Also, La Mesa downtown was a pleasant surprise.

Super cute and cozy! The area was zen, the bed was so comfortable, the outdoor extra bathroom and shower was spacious, and the jacuzzi and fire pit at night was so relaxing :) thank you we loved it :)

Wonderful!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Airstream experience! Very peaceful neighborhood. Growing up on a farm we appreciated the background sound of the resident flock of poultry. Centrally located, it was an easy drive to La Jolla, Fallbrook and El Cajon. We would stay there on future trips to San Diego. Highly recommend.

This was one of my favorite getaways of all time! Our son goes to SDSU and was looking for something close to campus and wasn't happy with the options. I found the Zenstream experience on Expedia and it was amazing! Very private, every detail is thought of....There is a beautiful full bathroom with spa shower, hot tub and beyond comfortable. We can't wait to go back!

Great location near San Diego

My daughter and I stayed in Sybil’s beautiful trailer for two nights. The beds were very comfortable with so many thoughtful touches. The location was close to all of the sights we wanted to see. We just wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening and doing yoga in the tranquil courtyard in the morning. It was wonderful to have the option of the both the trailer bathroom and the outdoor bathroom. Sybil was a warm and friendly host and I highly recommend staying here.

Terrific Host!

Sybil was amazingly responsive. Due to the inclement weather, my trip was canceled at the last minute. Sybil understood completely and was kind enough to refund me, even though I was very late. It looks like an exciting property, and I look forward to staying there next time I'm in San Diego!

Sweet retreat in amazing Zen garden with wonderful hospitality. Kitchen is well equipped added bonus was the coconut water and coffee! Did enjoy the daily soak in jacuzzi too. Will stay here again!

This location was so cute and close to everything we needed! Sybil was very attentive and cooperative with our needs. Such a nice and relaxing getaway for us. Bed was extremely comfy and very clean. Would definitely recommend!

Cathartic refuge, mere minutes' drive from San Diego

Wow! This is likely the best stay I've ever had, on Vrbo or otherwise. Sybil and her lovely family have nestled their immaculate Airstream into a picture-perfect nook of their serene San Diego outskirts property. We were only ever 15 minutes from everywhere that we needed to be in San Diego during our three nights' stay. The whole terrace is tastefully appointed with zen at top of mind. Essentially a ready-built glamping experience, all of your creature comforts are afforded: hot running water in two different shower options, gas stove and kitchenette indoors, and a grill and small fire pit outdoors, a jacuzzi (treated and monitored daily!), and a Buddha fountain as cherry-on-top. Daytimes, my partner and I stayed reliably connected to our remote offices with a strong wifi signal that covered the entire guest terrace. At night, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sybil and her family mostly kept to themselves, but were always immediately attentive to our needs, with a warm and neighborly disposition. 6/5 stars. This place rocked. These folks were amazing. We'll be back.

Hello and welcome! My name is Sybil Park, and I am a La Mesa resident of 25 years. I live here with my husband Ray, our children James, John and Maggie, and my mother-in-law Lee. A self-employed artist working from home, I manage the Airbnb. I love nature, art, yoga and spending my free time with friends & family. We currently have 19 chickens and no other pets. I enjoy cooking, gardening and caring for my chickens most days. Due to Covid we have been sheltering in place most of the time so these days family time is almost all the time. We pride ourselves on respecting out guests privacy within the space but we are certainly available on request. We welcome healthy and happy visitors to come stay with us!
