Summary:
Solitary Islands Farm by Tiny Away is a countryside NSW getaway spanning 88 acres of lush pasture and untamed wilderness. Explore the Permaculture gardens or venture into a 40-acre private nature reserve teeming with wildlife. Darkum Creek winds through the property, guiding you to the ocean just a short walk away. Pause by the tranquil dam or lose yourself in the untouched beauty surrounding this tiny house retreat. It’s a place where the wild meets thoughtful, sustainable living.
The Space:
Solitary Islands Farm by Tiny Away is located in the coastal locality of Mullaway and just 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour and surrounded by Clarence Valley’s natural wonders. Perched above a valley alive with kangaroos and native birds, this tiny house offers sweeping views of the property’s untouched beauty. Explore nearby treasures like Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve, The Big Banana Fun Park, and Forest Sky Pier, or enjoy the coastal charm of Corindi Beach, all within easy reach of this unique retreat.
A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.
If you plan to spend your tiny house NSW getaways here, we advise bringing your basic necessities, such as food and water, during your stay with us. Thank you!
Guest Access:
Guests are welcome to explore the entire property on foot or by bike, immersing themselves in its natural beauty. While swimming in the dam is not allowed, you can enjoy a dip in the creek—just remember to stay safe and respect the environment. To protect the delicate ecosystem, driving and dogs are not permitted in the nature reserve. For the safety of wildlife, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
The Neighborhood:
Solitary Islands Farm by Tiny Away offers a cozy retreat in Mullaway, a coastal gem 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour. This area thrives on its natural character of rugged headlands with inviting beaches. Mullaway's charm lies in its simplicity, from fishing along the well-regarded shoreline to cooking your catch under paperbark trees. The nearby headland walk reveals cliffs and views of Solitary Islands Marine Park. It’s a haven for those drawn to unpolished coastal beauty and outdoor exploration.
