New Home in Tranquil Location

The Rainforest Hideout is convenient to Cashiers, Highlands, Sapphire, and Close to the SC border. There is a lot to explore in both directions. The home is beautiful and the view cannot be beat. The last 3 miles or so to the home is on gravel roadways, but we didn't find that to be a problem. The host provided everything we needed and was very good at communicating with us before and during our stay. The home has Star Link Wi-Fi which worked well for us. We could text, but not make mobile calls. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing. We'll be back!

Perfect stay at the Rainforest Hideout

This house is perfect. It has everything you could ask for in a rental. Clean, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, plenty of games to keep the kiddos entertained, and a peaceful setting. The hosts are some of the most thoughtful I have encountered. We were traveling with our pup and they left a care box for him including treats. They communicated with us to let us know of local events and checked on us about a power outage that we were unaware of since we were out exploring. Our family enjoyed our time just playing games and watching the wildlife around the cabin. We were lucky enough to have a bear walk down the road in front of the house, had a great horned owl land right in front of us on the patio, watched the resident turtle swim in the pond, and saw many birds and interesting insects. For those who may be less adventurous, note the cabin is pretty remote requiring travel down a few miles of narrow gravel roads. It was great for our family though. Would definitely stay again.
