SOUTHERN COMFORT IS BOOKING FAST FOR SUMMER!!! The name speaks says it all!

If you looking to kick back and relax with family or friends, look no further Southern Comfort is a newly constructed cabin that just hit the market in August 2020!

The name "Southern Comfort" is just one way to sum up the property!!! SoCo. offers our guest breathtaking views of the mountains, as well as the sound of nature and wildlife all around you!!!
Lets not forget the most important feature of the property, which is an aerial view of the river that flows directly in front of the cabin, as well as river access within feet of the property!

Lets Dive In:
SoCo sleeps 16 guest and comes fully stocked with everything one might need during their stay. A fully stocked cabin for our guest, is what we strive to offer!!

This property was designed to gather family and friends without feeling crowded. The property is equipped with all stainless steel appliances such as; Refrigerator, Dishwater, Oven, Microwave, etc; as well as cookware, utensils, and serving ware for the entire party!!! Still need more, take a look at the items we have tucked away for our guest such as a Blender, Table Top Griddle, Chopper, Crock pot, Keurig and a traditional Kitchen Aid Coffee Pot.
As mentioned, the open floor plan allows the kitchen and living room to flow together as one! The windows along the cabin offer you access to the beautiful scenery around you while inside the cabin.
The kitchen offers seating for 12; which includes a long industrial farm table and a granite bar top with bar stools to seat 4! If you still find yourself needing more seating, take a step outside and enjoy both our Upper Level Deck OR the lower level Screened Porch!

Southern Comfort offers 4 King Bedrooms and a Bunk Room with 6 Bunk Beds! The property offers a total of 4 bathrooms, 2 full bathrooms ( One located off the living room & the other is located next to bunk room in the loft area) and 2 Jack and Jill style bathroom in between the king bedrooms.
Please note, The vanities are accessible from the bedrooms and have the capability to be locked, so that each guest room offers its own privacy.
All bedrooms are Equipped with a 50" TV (excluding the bunk room which offers only a small TV)!! The living room and loft area are both equipped with 65” TV and a Bose Soundbar!
The property will be fully stocked with all linens, towels and beach towels & the property also offers a laundry room as well.

Lastly.... Our cabin was designed so that family and friends could gather in a spacious area; however the best part of the cabin is the upper level deck, as well as the screened porch below (ITS MY FAVORITE SPOT).

A must stay!

We had a big weekend! We enjoyed a couple days as a family fishing and playing in the river. We spent the last night entertaining clients overnight. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the home and amenities! We will be back!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. There was plenty of room for everyone, including the dogs. The surrounding area was peaceful and spacious. It was fun to walk down by the river. Holland was a great host, accommodating and helpful. She made sure our short stay was a positive experience for us.

The property and location were beautiful. There were a couple of issues upon our initial arrival but the owner took excellent care of us and was very responsive to our needs. We will be back to stay.

Amazing place to stay. House was very clean and great location right on the water. The owner of the property was very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be staying here again! The only thing negative is the trash drop off… it’s the first thing you see and smell as soon as you go through the gate, trash bags had been torn into and was scattered around.. I know this is not the owner of this properties issue but maybe they can mention it to the right people.

Annual River Getaway

This was our yearly getaway with our kids and family friends. Southern Comfort was truly comfortable and very relaxing. Our kids ranged in age from 5 to 13 yrs in age and all of them enjoyed the loft area and bunk room. The kitchen was well equipped w/ everything we needed. We have stayed in Serenity Loop years before and stairs down to the water are a huge plus! Can't wait until next year!!

Framily "Christmas" Vacay

We gave this trip as a gift to our adult kids for Christmas and had room for several friends. Relaxing in the river was awesome!! Ms. Holland was excellent in taking care of the minor issues that arose and was a top notch host. Beds are comfy, there are plenty of towels. kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking needs. Will absolutely be coming back!

Hidden Gem

The Southern Comfort home was perfect for our annual Thanksgiving trip. The home had plenty of space for our family of 16. The Caddo river provides a beautiful backdrop. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for preparing large meals. Holland was very responsive to answer questions. We can’t wait to return in the summer.

It was an amazing trip, celebrated my husbands 60th birthday!

It was a beautiful cabin and a wonderful spot on the river! Only issue we had was music from our neighbor was playing most of the night and kept my kids awake.

Southern Comfort

It is a lovely house with excellent river access. We had previously rented the Highlife from the Holland’s and we’re looking to stay there again. It was already booked but we were so pleased to find the Southern Comfort was available!! The Holland’s make the booking experience so easy and enjoyable. Check it the house on Facebook too! It is just as nice as the pictures show it to be.
