About this property
Aquabelle Five with Rye Pier views
Summary:
Five is a beautifully styled, light-filled space with room for everyone. All 137 sq/metres of beach and Rye Pier view apartment is designed for maximum personal privacy as each bedroom has its own separate en-suite. Like all award-winning Aquabelle Apartments, a fuss free, spacious, contemporary interior with eclectic touches and full size everything set Five apart from other accommodation offerings on the Peninsula. We have received the numerous TripAdvisor Traveller's Choice Winner badges, voted #1 in Rye and consistently achieve Airbnb Super Host status.
The Space:
The master king suite, with crisp white bed linen, stunning en-suite with stone bath and walk in shower, has an incomparable view across the living space to the pier and bay beyond. The second king bedroom has its own peaceful outdoor space and ensuite. And we have packed heaps of storage into both bedrooms so you can really unpack!
The living/dining area with 2 x 3 seater leather couches, Smart TV, reading nook and separate dining area for 6, all overlooking the large alfresco terrace. A full size fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and cooktop, espresso coffee machine rounds out the galley kitchen. And for that healthy breakfast smoothie a Nutribullet is also provided.
Wide north-facing views of the bay and pier make this apartment so very special. Access is via covered external stairwell. Complimentary wi-fi and security parking for one car complete this brilliant holiday space.
Guest Access:
5 days before you stay we will send through a 4 digit PIN access code that gives you access into the car park and the apartment.. no keys! The PIN is valid for your time in the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
The coastal town of Rye is situated on the popular holiday destination of the Mornington Peninsula, nestled between Rosebud and Blairgowrie.
Point Nepean Road is Rye's main thoroughfare, running parallel to the town's bay beach. The main concentration of shops is located east of Dundas Street and includes a hotel, eateries, a major supermarket and other retailers.
Rye's main beach offers a safe shallow, shoreline ideal for small children. There is a pier, several boat ramps, and attractive foreshore facilities with picnic areas, shelters, playgrounds and walking tracks.
Around a kilometre west of the Rye Jetty is an outcrop of land called White Cliffs. At the base of the cliffs is a reconstructed old Lime Burners Kiln - a reminder of the mid-1800s when the extraction of lime was the area's primary industry. Scenic views along the coast can be enjoyed from lookout above the kiln.
Rye extends southwards across the narrow width of the Mornington Peninsula in this area, right down to the coastline fronting the open waters of Bass Strait. The Mornington Peninsula National Park spans the foreshore here, consisting of scenic walking tracks, rocky coastal features, dunes and pockets of sandy beach. A pathway and steps extends from Tasman Drive down to the sandy bay at Number 16 Beach.
Further south-east along the coast is Rye Ocean Beach, accessed from the southern end of Dundas Street. Officially located within in the small coastal community of St Andrews Beach, the beach and foreshore area also forms part of the Mornington Peninsula National Park, offering wide expanses of sandy beaches and rolling sand dunes covered in native vegetation. The next beach of significance further along the coast is St Andrews Beach which can be accessed via the car park at the end of Paradise Drive. Views can be enjoyed along the coast towards Cape Schanck and its lighthouse.
Getting Around:
It is great to have a car and google maps on the Peninsula but if you are staying in Rye, we are walking distance to everything in town.
Other Things to Note:
The length of stay on weekends is 2 nights, long weekends 3 nights, Easter 4 nights. Christmas/New Year/January 7 nights.
Interaction with Guests:
We want you to feel like Aquabelle Five is your own holiday place so we keep hotel-style intervention to a minimum. We are just a phone call away for any Peninsula advice or apartment troubles or questions. Our front windows are cleaned once a fortnight but we always text and knock first! And please... if anything is bugging you during your stay, tell us and we will provide a solution as soon as possible.
