Never Left the Resort!
We booked a long weekend while our tweens were on spring break. I knew this resort had a kid friendly indoor water park but did not realize just how much they have to offer for children of all ages, particularly in two separate water parks for separate thrill levels. With billiards, shuffle board and various crafts inside the water park with the small kid play area, lazy river and such, I felt very confident allowing my tweens to enjoy themselves throughout the enclosed space while I relaxed in the hottub or lazy river. Additionally the resort boasts volley ball, basketball and tennis courts (where they host pickleball). The room itself was cozy but comfortable. If a family of 6 is staying, it will be necessary to move funiture around at night to open sofa and Murphy bed. We all slept comfortably, though, and enjoyed relaxing together in the room on breaks. While we brought some of our own groceries for snacks and lunches, we did eat breakfast on site one morning. It was incredible! In addition to regular hotel buffet offerings, I enjoyed the scrambled eggs with spinach, cheese and shrimp; shrimp and grits; and shrimp fritters. There was a great waffle station and fresh fruit that made my kids happy. It was a fantastic deal (a rarity for resort dining). I recommend this accommodation. The host was easy to communicate with and the staff at the resport was incredibly personable and helpful. I would absolutely stay again.
