About the home

“The Tranquil Feather” is a delightful single-storey family home in San Remo just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The central hallway leads past Bedroom 1, which featues a BIR and ensuite (with shower & separate toilet), internal access into the Garage, a Study with built in desk (large enough for two people to work at) and to the front Living Room (with smart TV & speaker). The large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room provides access to a Laundry (with washing machine) and also flows through to the rear covered Deck. A side hallway leads to Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet.

Outdoor Areas

The wrap-around covered rear Deck (with gas BBQ and 6-seater outdoor setting) overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard, which is perfect for children. The large double Garage (with small table tennis table) provides space for 2 cars, and another car can park in the driveway.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the Kitchen/Dining/Living room, plus three additional stand-alone fans which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 5 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 10 guests (9 adults & 1 teenager/child):

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed
Bedroom 4: One Tri-bunk

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
There is also a Single size sofa bed in the main Living room, suitable for a teenager or child.


Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
