Golden Hour Hideaway by Tiny Away
Summary:
Get your front-row seat to Victoria’s most cinematic sunset. Golden Hour Hideaway by Tiny Away is a holiday home and tiny house perched on pastures—spot kangaroos grazing at dusk, echidnas foraging along the fence line, and majestic black cockatoos soaring overhead. An off-grid getaway that ditches the distractions for sky-wide views and deep-breath tranquility. Fire up the BBQ, stargaze by the firepit, or just let nature do its thing. This tiny home is only 8 minutes from Daylesford, but honestly, you won’t want to leave.
The Space:
Golden Hour Hideaway by Tiny Away is tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Glenlyon, just 8 minutes from Daylesford, this holiday home is where rolling hills meet fiery sunsets, and the only traffic jam is a few kangaroos at dusk. Sip coffee as Wombat Hill wakes up, chase waterfalls at Trentham Falls, and hit the Daylesford Sunday Market before returning to your cozy deckside.
A comfortable 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria retreat here, we advise bringing your basic necessities, such as food and water, during your stay with us. Thank you!

Guest Access:

The Neighborhood:
Golden Hour Hideaway by Tiny Away puts you in the heart of Glenlyon’s countryside, just 8 minutes from Daylesford but far from the usual. This is open sky, rolling farmland, and crisp country air with no city hum in the background. Wake up to golden fields, grazing sheep, and the occasional kangaroo passing by. Spend your mornings at Cliffy’s with a great coffee and breakfast, then enjoy lunch or dinner at the newly refurbished Daylesford Hotel’s outdoor beer garden. If you're in the mood for a local drop, Attwoods Winery and Restaurant in Glenlyon and The Burrow Winery in Denver are both just a five-minute drive away, offering incredible wines and dining experiences. The nearby Daylesford Cidery in Musk is perfect for a relaxed afternoon, serving local cider and beer with a great lunch menu, whether you visit in winter by the fireplace or in summer under the trees.
For a more laid-back experience, take a one-minute drive, a 15-minute walk, or a five-minute bike ride to the famous Glenlyon General Store. This cozy spot is perfect for breakfast or lunch, with a beautiful selection of local wines. From there, explore the scenic trails along the Loddon River leading to Glenlyon Reserve—a must-do in autumn and spring when the landscape is at its most vibrant.
