We were looking for a place to stay, near our Aunt and Uncle, so we could visit them over the weekend. The house was beautiful and we loved the Christmas tree also.
Awesome stay! House was comfy, clean and had everything we needed for a perfect family Thanksgiving! We really appreciated all the firewood as it came in handy when we got 8 inches of snow on Thanksgiving day! Rock painting was a big hit with all of us but especially with the granddaughter. Beautiful area.
My husband and i were very happy with our stay at this very spacious log cabin. We were quite happy with the cleanliness and the beds were very comfortable and supportive. We will definitely try to.stay there again whenever we are visiting family.
I booked this cabin for my parents and their dogs for a long weekend. It was a beautiful spot. The pups loved the water and the big yard to run around on. Sitting on the back porch listening to the loons on the pond was peaceful and relaxing. The owners were great. They were got back to me quickly with any questions I had and checked in during the visit. It was very much appreciated. Would for sure recommend.
Disappointed in water footage. Only place to sit was on dock. We sat in front of each other.. Boats are kept at house. Had to wash them and carry them down to pond. No gas in grill.
My family and I (2 adults, 5 yr old, 3yr old, 1 yr old and our dog) just spent a week here and enjoyed every aspect! The house is amazing!! Plenty of space for all of us. It was super clean, cool, comfortable and inviting! We loved being able to be a very short walk from the pond to swim and have the huge yard to relax and enjoy the outdoors!
We try to visit Maine every other year or so and love to try new places each time but this may be our spot!
The cabin is beautiful, larger than expected from the pictures. It’s directly across the street from a beautiful, calm lake. The private dock/small beach area were great for our kids. The cabin has 2 kayaks and a canoe. We had a blast kayaking together.
There’s some great restaurants in the area as well, just a short drive away. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone we met were very nice.
The owners communicated immediately for minor issues. They’re amazing hosts! We highly recommend this cabin for a quiet, relaxing vacation!
Oh, and foosball! I had no idea my kids would enjoy the foosball table as much as they did. So my only “complaint” is that now I have to buy them one!
This is the perfect Maine getaway! The property is located down a peaceful dirt road winding down to an amazing cabin. The cabin is well outfitted and has a very rustic vibe with modern amenities. I can’t recommend this property enough!
We loved our stay! It was so quiet, you could see the stars at night, our pup loved the yard and the main room was perfect to cozy up in the evening. It was too cold to enjoy the lake but it was a wonderful way to start each day looking at the water. House is fully stocked with everything you would need and the beds are cozy. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend!
This camp should be on a Cabin Master show on HGTV; lots of room for even a large family. Host not joking about the full kitchen; family had a blast cooking breakfast together and it was super easy storing and reheating left overs from restaurants. And the comfort…wow. We sat on the couch watching evening shows basking in the warmth of the fireplace, slept fantastic on very comfortable beds, and enjoyed iconic Maine style decor. The central location made it easy to visit areas like Farmington, Lewiston, Freeport, and Bangor with about an hour drive. This is a camp I wish I could buy but I imagine the host gets offers ALL the time!
Wonderful week long stay with my brother visiting friends and family in central Maine. Well appointed kitchen, close to the lake, large yard to relax. Will definitely be back during the summer.
My husband and our dog stayed 4 nights and we had a wonderful and relaxing trip. The cabin is adorable and very well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to cook (pots, pans, utensils, etc - there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there). The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We loved the wood burning stove at night time and the yard was plenty big for our dog to run around. While we didn’t use the pond because it’s November, the pathway to the water takes less than a minute to navigate. We found the area to be quiet and enjoyed many afternoons and nights sitting outside with a fire. Going into town was a quick 20 minute drive for the few things we forgot to bring with us and was very convenient. 5 stars all around and we will definitely be back!
House was clean and welcoming. The Host corresponded several times to make sure everything was good. Beds were comfortable. The house was beautiful and weather was perfect. We had a fantastic week
What a lovely retreat! We came “home” to Loon Lodge after long days of vending at the Common Ground Fair (about 45 minutes each way). The cabin is large and airy and clean, bed was comfortable, and the host was very kind and attentive. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Next time we’ll make sure to make time to enjoy the beautiful pond. 💞
The cabin was great--very clean and very comfortable! The rooms are good-sized and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The property is beautiful and so is the lake. It is a quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. Hope we can come back that way again someday--would definitely love to stay there again!
The cabin was much more spacious than we thought! We had a lovely stay and enjoyed going for walks on the quiet road leading to the property. It rained a lot while we were there so the path to the pond was pretty muddy with some broken wooden boards on the pathway there, but not a big deal. A fun space to enjoy time with family!
Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful property. Not directly on the water if that's what you're looking for but if you just want to relax and decompress, it's a perfect place. Kids/young adults had no problem getting kayaks to the water though. I had no problems communicating with the owner.
This log cabin// home Is absolutely fantastic. From the minute you step into it you are in awe of how beautiful it is, the Sibley pond area is so beautiful peaceful and relaxing. The neighbors are wonderful. I spent two weeks here and wish it could’ve been two months. Such a wonderful place. I definitely will be back.
I came from out of state (Georgia) to visit family in Maine. This place was plenty big enough for 6 adults and 3 kids (3 different families). It had everything we needed. It was a little walk to the water but they had boats, life jackets and fishing supplies for us! The pictures really don’t do it justice and I would recommend this property to anyone.
