About this property
Nordic Tiny Cottage - 1 Acre property & walk to Black Mountain
Welcome to Our Cozy Black Mountain Retreat
As someone who lives for the outdoors and believes in creating spaces that restore and inspire, I’m excited to welcome you to our mountain cottage in Black Mountain, North Carolina—just a short walk from downtown and some of the area’s most scenic trails.
This home is more than a place to stay—it’s a space to slow down, reconnect, and experience the simple joys of mountain living. Whether you’re here to hike, unplug, gather with friends, or spend quality time with family, this cottage is your basecamp for it all.
The Cottage
• Warm & Inviting Living Area
Sink into the couch after a long hike, warm up by the fireplace, or open the windows and let the mountain breeze roll in. The space is filled with natural light, earthy textures, and thoughtful touches that make it feel like home.
• Fully Stocked Kitchen
Whether you’re cooking up a post-trail meal or sipping coffee before a day of exploring, the kitchen has everything you need. You’ll find quality cookware, a gas stove, full-sized fridge, and a cozy dining area to share meals or plan your next adventure.
• Comfortable Bedrooms
After a day on the trails or in town, retreat to a restful night’s sleep in one of our peaceful, cozy bedrooms. Clean linens, soft lighting, and quiet surroundings guarantee you’ll wake up refreshed and ready to explore.
• Clean, Modern Bathroom
The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and simple amenities to make your stay comfortable and easy.
Outdoor Space You’ll Love
There’s nothing like ending your day with a soak in the private hot tub, surrounded by trees and mountain air. It’s peaceful, quiet, and perfect after a long hike or bike ride.
• Fire Pit & Gathering Space
Sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows, share stories, or just breathe in the fresh air. This is one of my favorite places to pause and reflect—especially with a group of good friends.
• Private Deck & Outdoor Seating
Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with mountain views and bird songs in the background. The deck is a great spot to write, read, or just do nothing at all.
• Pet-Friendly
We know dogs are family too. The fenced-in backyard offers a safe space for your pup to roam while you relax.
Walkable to Downtown Black Mountain
We chose this location because of how connected it feels. Walk just a few minutes and you’re in the heart of downtown Black Mountain. Browse local shops, grab a coffee, check out the art scene, or enjoy live music and craft beer. It’s small-town charm with real soul.
Adventure Just Outside Your Door
• Trails, rivers, waterfalls, and mountain views are all nearby. You’ll find countless opportunities to hike, mountain bike, paddle, or just get lost in the woods.
• Lake Tomahawk is just down the road for walking, tennis, or a peaceful lakeside moment.
• Whether you want a challenging trek or an easy afternoon stroll, there’s something for everyone here.
