As described, the home was small, but very well appointed inside, great deck sitting right on the river’s edge (perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktail), great location with quick and easy access to Dillsboro, Sylva, and Waynesville. It was perfect for our needs and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great Location, Clean, and Accurate details
I stayed here with my husband and children for my birthday and it was great. It is a small place but fine for a long weekend. Details on the website were accurate, and the view of the river is wonderful! VERY close to town of Dillsboro and we stayed in December, so the town had the luminaries, lights, carriage rides, etc. Fire pit was great for the cold weather! Hosts were very quick to reply if you needed help. We will likely stay here again.

Just want I needed...
This cozy cabin was right on the river with a large deck and easy access for getting in the river. The accommodations were perfect and the coffee bar was stocked with everything we needed for enjoying a hot cup of coffee on the deck. They even provided a French press. Pillows were wonderfully comfy. The mattresses were a little more firm than I am used to, but probably better for your back. We will defintely be back!

Planning to return
My grandson and I had a great time fly fishing. The cabin location was perfect for enjoying this hobby. The cabin is smaller than it appears in the pictures, but it did not affect our enjoyment. The outside deck was fabulous.

Fly Fishing Home Base
This was a wonderful, cozy home with a great outdoor space and relaxing view of the river. We saw a bald eagle fly overhead and there are a pair of beautiful geese that camp out on the island in the middle of the river - a mama goose and her mate who guards her wel. It was the perfect place for my son and I to spend time after our fly fishing excursions. Although we couldn't fish in March right in front of the house, it was a quick trip over to Cherokee and into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We found a few good spots and enjoyed our time together and hope to do this sometime next year. The home seems like it's way back in the Boonies when in fact, it's maybe a mile or so to cute downtown Dillsboro with shops, a brewery and several great restaurants. The IGA grocery store is about 1/4 mile past downtown Dillsboro on the left and has just about anything you could want. Perfect place to get away from it all, yet be close to the necessities!!

Great Spot, Vacasa failed me
Great quiet spot on the river right across from "The Fugitive" crash site! There are 2 other cabins very close, but the occupants were quiet. Very close to town! We had a rodent problem that went unaddressed by Vacasa...it is difficult to get in touch with Vacasa. If this property had been managed by a local owner/operator, the rodent problem would have been taken care of right away. Instead, we had mouse droppings all over the kitchen counter/sink for 2 days without any help from Vacasa.

Amazing!!
This has become a yearly treat for my family and I. These Cabins are the best kept secret around!!! The place was so incredibly peaceful full of beautiful views of the river!!! We enjoyed watching the train go by as well as the rafters. It’s a great place for everyone in the family no matter the age. The owner was so helpful, and she took the time to come by and say hello. I look forward to many more years of visiting the cabins!!

Perfect relaxing weekend
My wife and I love short relaxing getaways from time to time. This trip was perfect in every way. From the clean and cozy cabin with sounds of the river rolling by, the crisp mountain air and the proximity to amazing food and shops in town. Couldn’t ask for more! We will definitely be back!
