Camp very clean and well appointed. Large yard on water. Holland Pond is very quiet and not over developed. Definitely recommend for a quiet stay. Nearby hikes to Beaver Pond and Round Pond. Anthony communicates well.
Stayed at the property with my nine year old son, and my mom for a week. Very quiet spot, with a lot of great outdoor options right out the door. I ran everyday, into the wildlife preserve that surrounds most of Holland Pond, amazingly serene spot. Close enough to Newport, snd Derby Line to grab a bite to eat, or go to tge supermarket.
This was just what I needed! Beautiful, quiet and relaxing. I very much enjoyed having no service or internet. My cell phone service didn't work and there is no Wi-Fi. I LOVED IT!
My partner and I love to truly get away when we vacation. The idea of no cell service, no cable, no wifi really appealed to us. This is truly a slice of heaven, Anthony ensures no small detail is overlooked. We stayed in October, so the weather was a bit cold but we expected that and dressed accordingly. We had one clear night, and OMG the stars!!! This is a perfect place to get away from it all.
We were there to celebrate our 41st anniversary. It was perfect: beautiful weather, comfy camp, and very peaceful.
There was no cell service or Wi-Fi, but that didn't matter. The kitchen was updated, and we loved the porch! Thank you, Anthony.
The perfect getaway. Cozy and comfortable. A great place if you value solitude and need a break from the internet and social media! Reading, being in nature, hiking, and paddling take on a whole new meaning, beyond restful.
If you’re looking for a remote, quiet place completely off the grid then this is it. This is a comfortable, no frills cabin on a beautiful pond. We experienced complete quiet with no internet or cell service. The property has everything you would need for a rustic getaway including interesting reading material on the history of the town. We really enjoyed our stay!

Ton of Goose feces
Beautiful spot but there was a lot of Goose feces (almost everywhere you step) and we had two dogs with us so it was not an ideal situation.
When it's time to unplug and relax this is the place. Not fancy, but everything you might need if you want to leave electronic tech and gadgets behind. Excellent hiking and paddling, great views, waterfront and fire ring can't be beat. Thanks Anthony!
The setting of the cabin - near the end of the road by an out-of-the-way unspoilt pond - is wonderful, and the cabin, though modest, is very comortable and convenient. We canoed on the lake, saw loons and eagles, hiked nearby, and watched stars - days of amazement and calm. Thank you, Anthony, for being a helpful host, and for all the thought and practicality which has gone into making the cabin so welcoming.
We enjoyed the Cabin although it rained most of our stay. Neighbors are a little close but not terrible they were respectful and let you be. The pond looks awesome!
The bed was big and comfortable and the cabin has everything you need.
Host was nice and communicated well.
We absolutely love this place. Kayaking to the "wild side" of the pond was a highlight (there's wilderness across from the house). It's a cute intimate space in a great location. There's nothing like being directly on the water with your own dock. The basement is filled with fun aquatic items and the house is stocked with everything you need.
The excitement began about 5 minutes from the property when we spotted two large bears munching on dropped corn on the edge of a field!
Anthony’s property was all we’d been promised, clean, peaceful and quiet. We saw loons and bald Eagle during our paddling around the pond. An extended weekend getaway with wife and dogs, but without internet was perfect for my 50th birthday. Highly recommend this place!
This little camp was absolutely perfect. We found it to be clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. The lawn, waterfront, and dock were all everything we had hoped they would be, and more. The views from the front porch were breathtaking. We spent the week kayaking, swimming, and enjoying campfires and stargazing each night with our family. We swam with two curious loons, followed a family of links along the shoreline in our kayak, and even had a few bald eagle sightings. This property is literally a little “chunk of Heaven” on earth! Thanks Anthony!
The lake was beautiful the cabin needs to be updated couldn’t even sit on the porch chairs they’re all disgusting. The fridge wasn’t really that clean in the sink strainer we put utensils in there was gunk in it .I had to clean it out with Clorox. Also the mat in the shower it’s moldy I took it out and you know it was under there was all hair and crap it wasn’t even cleaned . We had a couple windows open but I had to clean the windowsills I don’t know why nobody kills dead bugs in them. And there was nothing there to start the fire so I never had a fire. It was peaceful and relaxing I hope you speak with your cleaning lady about this also I was going to use a wine glass and if you look at it still up there it’s all dirty handprints on it so that was never washed. I’m sorry when I go away somewhere I expect a perfectly clean place which other places I’ve been were perfect.
The weather wasn't great, but the lack of cell and Internet made my stay seem twice as long. Being able to walk my dogs right out the door onto a really interested trail was great and 5 minutes away was another trailhead to an incredible group of trails.
The views were spectacular, the folks next door very friendly and the house quite nice. The array of DVDs and videos weren't my type but I had books which probably added to the slowed pace (Modern TV is awfully fast-paced). My dogs loved it.
We enjoyed Anthony's camp for a second time after 20 years. Still relaxing, a great place to catch up on that book you've been meaning to read, a refreshing change from the everyday world! A great place for paddling and watching the wildlife.
We were thrilled with everything about this secluded cabin on Holland Pond. This cabin is so cozy and comfortable and is awesomely supplied with anything/everything you might need or want. Almost defies description on how comfortable it really is. Anthony has gone above and beyond in stocking it with spices/oils/condiments/bandages/soaps/cleaning products! Loved the hand soap and body wash- scents were soothing and amazing. Bed is incredibly comfortable also. The view of the pond is breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunrise/sunset and even just the morning steam rising. The ducks and loons kept us enthralled and entertained. We truly hated to leave!!
