Bluebird Landing is a family-friendly home near Alberta Creek & Washita Point

Spacious & comfortable 3 Bedroom & 2-1/2 Bath home that will sleep 12 adults comfortably for a family vacation, very kid friendly with a large outside area to play. Also would be great for a girls weekend away or for a group of fishermen to stay for tournaments or Striper fishing trips. Both the master bedroom & living area have a fireplace. There is another living area upstairs for the kids to hang out in and play games or watch TV. The home has a spacious and open floor plan with a patio area just off the living room equipped with plenty of seating, a pellet grill, and a fire pit (wood provided). Located near Alberta Creek Marina, Washita Point and several boat ramps and swimming areas. Also within minutes of Catfish Bay, the Choctaw Casino and Lake Texoma Park.

Fishing / anniversary trip

The house was beautifully. Fully stocked with everything you could need!!! Clean & cozy♡ we enjoyed the town of Durante while there. Obky about 25- 30 minutes. Lots of restaurants there. Cute Historic downtown Durante had shops & boutiques. One of the days there we scheduled a massage at Anita's theraputic massage. Best massage I've ever had!!! We stayed 6 days. Great getaway & home. Also the lake is beautiful its just right close to the house . Like 3 miles up the road!! Would definitely stay again!!!!

Nice clean property

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was just as shown and couldn't have been easier. Close to lake activities and we drove in to the Choctaw casino one night.

Beautiful home

Home away from home. Absolutely beautiful and super clean. Loved the outdoor space. Kids loved the yard. Very comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. Super nice owners with quick reponsss. Even left us with snacks and very pretty flowers. Lots of parking space. Friendly neighborhood! Loved the entire house.

Great Place for a family getaway

This house was great. It was very close to lake texoma and was in a very quite neighborhood if you want a relaxing getaway. The house itself was stocked with just about everything you need for a getaway. The kitchen had just about every cooking dish and utensil needed. The patio had a very nice pellet grill. The outdoor patio had several chairs and a fire pit that we loved using. The only reason I didn't give this location 5 stars is that I was charged a cleaning fee and then given a list of chores that I had to do before checking out including taking the sheets off the beds, loading the dishwasher, and other tasks. If I'm being charged a cleaning fee, then don't ask me to do part of a housekeepers job. Charge enough of a cleaning fee and have the housekeeper do this. I see this more and more on VRBO properties and its not a good trend.

Wonderful Stay

This property is so clean and has such a wonderful floor plan with plenty of space for everyone! Also, it came with lots of things that you may need if you leave something at home. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Nice home. Kitchen very well stocked. Very nice extra touches. Very comfortable MB bed! Dog across the street a little annoying as we were afraid to let the children play outside. Pit Bulls are very unpredictable dogs.

Spacious, Clean Retreat for my large family!

This vacation rental was perfect for my large family! The home was clean and spacious and had plenty of extra towels, blankets and pillows. They even provided beach towels and beach bags to use while there. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions before arrival. It's close to a few beach areas and other lake access points so that was a huge plus. The kitchen is well equipped with everything I needed to cook and even had a pancake griddle which I used. The dishes were basically new and she had plenty for my large family. The pellet grill was nice to have for making steaks and burgers. The outdoor patio furniture was nice and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the evenings. We even used the fire pit to make s'mores. I also liked the outdoor patio upstairs off the bedroom. It was a nice little retreat! The house was very well built (seems like a custom home) and was soundproof for upstairs/downstairs living. I was very impressed and it definitely exceeding my expectations which is always a plus!! There was several stray dogs(including a pit bull) in there area that wandered over to the property daily but they were all pretty friendly so it wasn't a problem. The property doesn't have a fence so we couldn't keep them out. The property is also on a dirt road so keep that in mind.

We enjoyed the house very much. The house had lots of great amenities and extras and more than enough space for us! We enjoyed the fire pit and grill and the awesome comfortable living room. The upstairs was awesome and had a ton of room for our adult children. The neighborhood was interesting and the women in our group did not feel really comfortable so we just made sure doors were locked and we stayed together. That being said I would stay again however, house and owner were awesome! Had a great time!

Catfish bay fishing trip

We stayed here for our fishing trip launching from Catfish bay. The place was clean, stocked with cooking pots/pans/utincils/etc. There was a bunch of wood for a fire during our stay. I would stay again for the next fishing trip.

Perfect for our family

Bluebird Landing exceeded our expectations on all levels. The house was very well appointed and outfitted with all possible cooking equipment you would ever need. Tons of towels and beach towels. Lawn games and great outdoor patio with plenty of seating and a great grill. One of the few places we’ve ever stayed where the actual place was even better than it appears online. Would definitely recommend for a 3-4 day getaway family vacation!

Birthday and 4th of July celebration

We loved our time at this beautiful location. The beds were comfortable and clean and it had everything we needed. Basic condiments available and fun and festive platters for celebratinn. We definitely plan to come back.

I grew up in the small town of Lindsay, OK and I currently live and work in Ardmore, OK. My husband grew up in Mounds, OK and he currently lives full time at the lake on Buncombe Creek. I have been coming to Lake Texoma since my parents purchased a property at Buncombe Creek when I was 11 years old. Some of my best memories have taken place at Texoma. My husband and I still have the place at Buncombe Creek where we continue to enjoy the lake and our kids have grown up coming to the lake on weekends and vacations their whole lives and now our grandchildren are getting to enjoy it also. I feel like we have created a legacy of coming to the lake that our family will continue throughout the years ahead.

Why they chose this property

We drove up to the property and I immediately fell in love with it. Then we walked inside the house and it was obvious this was the house for our VRBO. I could just see people coming and enjoying the wide open spaciousness of the living area; cooking a meal and sitting around the dining table and enjoying meals together. I think it will be a great place for families and friends to just hang out and enjoy each other's company. It's also located near a lot of great areas for recreation on beautiful Lake Texoma.

What makes this property unique

This house just has a special feel to it. There is a great area outside to sit and enjoy visiting and catching up with everyone. Also there are spacious areas downstairs and upstairs for hanging out, playing games, watching movies, reading, etc. We have fully equipped the kitchen with all the items needed to prepare a meal(s) if that is what you want to do. Or, there's several places in the area to go eat out if that is what you would rather do also. It's close to Alberta Creek Marina & Resort and Washita Point, both very popular areas.
