NEW IN 2024: Fully enclosed outdoor shower, perfect for after the beach. Also new is a small clothes dryer in the kitchen (NO WASHER). This is meant for just a few towels and bathing suits, not a large load. We have discontinued the use of Xfinity Cable and now just have Samsung TV and internet, so you can stream any of your own favorites!
Adorable old 2 story cozy townhome (side-by-side twin) in the heart of downtown OC. And yes cozy is another term for small, however with the spacious dining room and generous sized bedrooms, it doesn't seem so small. We are located on West Ave. (bet. 12th & 13th) on the ocean side of West (no main streets to cross to beach) directly across from a bustling 24 hour Wawa. Property features 2 spacious bedrooms and 1 bath, with sleeping for 6. This is a single family home with attached neighbors, so please be considerate. Property is 4 short blocks from beach or bay (6 min. walk or .33 mile); a great seating area at 12th & Bay for watching sunsets) and 1/2 block from the Asbury Ave. shopping district with loads of stores and eateries. Directly across street from 24 hr Wawa and Piccini Restaurant, 1 block away from Boyar's Market, (deli/market), Walgreen's and Bennie's Bread, Johnny B. Goode Ice Cream, and many others.. There are MINI SPLIT AC/HEATING UNITS installed in each room. These produce ice cold air conditioning! Living room and kitchen are smaller, but dining room is large. Dining room has seating for 6-8. Two spacious bedrooms are on the 2nd fl (master has 1 queen, secondary bedroom has twin over full bunk beds and an additional twin bed), the bath is on the first. There is no dishwasher. 55" TV in living room and 32" in the master bedroom. No TV in bunk room. There is a spacious outdoor patio with lots of seating, perfect for family entertaining. There is parking for 1 standard sized vehicle (car or SUV, not oversized) behind house. Kitchen amenities include microwave, Keurig and conventional drip pot, pans, flatware, dishes, cups, etc., everything you need to cook a meal if you choose. NOTE: Ring doorbell on house at back door. It will be turned off after check-in. You can cover it if you like. We are just monitoring check-in to make sure the correct tenants are there.
Note: there may or may not be an older pack n play available. Please notify us if you would need it. There is also a plastic infant bath in the house as there is only a standup shower. I personally prefer the deep kitchen sink!
Owner contract must be signed 30 days in advance of check-in, submitted with copy of driver's license (age 25 and older) for whomever is signing contract. 4 beach tags will be provided for your use. If lost, there will be a $35 each replacement cost deducted from security deposit. Several backpack beach chairs, boogie boards and an older beach cart are there for your use as well. No guarantees of condition of items. Use at your own risk.
NOTE: Renters are responsible for bringing their own linens INCLUDING SHEETS, bath towels, kitchen towels, toiletries etc. We provide all TP (please respect sewer system) and trash bags. There is usually a starter supply of paper products , paper towels, napkins, etc.) and of course food and condiments. There is an assortment of basic spices in the cabinet. Mattress pads, pillow protectors and quilts changed out every few weeks. You are welcome to bring your own if you like. NON-SMOKING PROPERTY! Smoking is permitted out back on patio only. NOTE: In some situations, a 3-4 night stay may be available IF we have gaps. If there are dates blocked out that you are interested in, please inquire. If they're blocked for family usage, we may be able to make them available for you! As noted above, we have had to institute fees for lost or broken beach tags and remotes as follows: $35 charge for beach tag; $75 charge for mini-split remotes; $25 for Samsung and Bunk Room ceiling fan remotes. New for this year is a TRASH REMOVAL FEE of $25. We are sorry to have to do this, but have had an awful season of no one putting out the trash and have had to do major cleanup. We have trash pickup twice a week in season and Wednesday in off season. There is no reason that new renters have to come in to overflowing trash cans due to not putting trash out!!! Please follow instructions on House Info and taped to refrigerator!!! It is expected that some trash will be left as last pickup for week is Friday morning. Please do your part as we do not have a trash corral at the alley and cans must be brought out. Failure to do so will incur $25 against your security deposit. NO ONE UNDER 25, NO GROUPS, FAMILIES ONLY PLEASE!!! NO PETS!!!
NEW FOR 2024: SHEET RENTAL AVAILABLE. For an additional $100, we will supply one set of each: queen, full and two twins. These will be used, but freshly washed sheets. There are commercial sheet rental services in the area as well such as Linen Fairies @ 856-693-4219. Many people like to rent sheets so they don't have to bring.
