Overall disappointed
The pictures of the property look very nice, however when arriving it was a different story. First prior to arrival I reached out to ask questions about availability of something at the house and had to follow up two times to get a response. Then when we arrived we first killed two bugs inside and then noticed the entire back half of the house slopes down. The kitchen is nice but the first morning we noticed the coffee pot wasn’t working. A fancy coffee pot, but it had a very regular glass pot - clearly they didn’t go together. The machine didn’t work because the pot wasn’t tall enough to touch the top of the machine to allow it to pour coffee (a typical spill prevention measure). We called vacasa customer service bc there is no ability to actually talk to the host and “logged a ticket”. The person said I’d get a call from maintenance in 20 minutes but no one ever called. I called again the next day and no one ever called back then either. Over the next two days I continued to kill two more spiders. Needless to say the place doesn’t give you a feeling of comfort whatsoever. The only positive is the location of the property in my opinion.

Cute, Little Place
We definitely enjoyed our stay, such a cute, little place. A few disappointments however.... coffee pot was broken, cleanliness was not the best and the homeowner didn’t leave anything to clean for the week, living room furniture was pretty dirty, and towels, paper towels, etc. were very scarce.

Perfect spot for sister's weekend
The kitchen was great. The living room furniture could stand to be updated--it's a little worn out and hard to get comfortable. Otherwise, great little place.

Great location
It was a great location; close to town and the beach, but being at the end of a short private road also gave us a bit of privacy.

Wonderful Cape Cod Cottage
This nicely re-done cape cod was perfect for our vacation. We had two couples and we were comfortable. The location is private and quiet and easy walking distance into town. The house was well stocked and appointed. We would definitely consider renting again in the future.

Nice, quiet accommodations, but pricey for the expwrience
Easy checkin. Quiet. Fairly clean and very neat Furniture a bit worn. Discovered used bath towels hanging in the bathroom upon arrival and soiled/stained bath mat.

Don’t recommend
The kitchen has ants. Anything that couldn’t go in fridge had to stay in a cooler all week to stay ant free. I brought this to their attention and all that they did was drop off 2 ant traps. The kitchen is not stocked well at all. The white couch and chair in living room are pretty dirty. The lights flicker every time water is turned on.

By the Sea
The love seat and chair were very stained. Furniture in Living room was very small. No lamps in bedroom or dresser, as the rooms were just about big enough for the queen beds. Kitchen and bath were the best parts of this home, as they were recently ungraded. Back deck was very small as well.

Felt like crashing at a friend unprepared for a visit
When we first entered the cottage, my heart sank as I viewed a dingy, stained white loveseat. I thought, okay, I’ll just put some towels over it, and make it work. I went searching for towels, only to find a pile of dirty ones on top of the washer. Things were not off to a good start. I decided to make the best of it and to wash them, while unpacking. Unfortunately, there was no detergent, even though we had asked about this and other supplies and were told they would be there. My husband went to buy detergent, while I started to unpack. This too, presented a challenge, as there was no dresser in either bedroom. Not the end of the world, but the closet door did not open all the way, because the carpet was too big for the room, and also there were random items (balled up linens, etc) strewn on the bottom of the closet. This was the case in both rooms, actually. There was virtually no storage. We then noticed it was extraordinary hot in the kitchen. The oven was on and set to 500 degrees! We may have let this go, but then when we continued setting up, we noticed that one of the only lights in the place (there was one dirty old brass lamp in the living room, but that is it) was broken with the switch coming loose from the wall. I called the contact number and told them of our troubles, and also that there was not toilet paper (except a tiny part of a roll), paper towels, dishwasher detergent (even though they ask us to start the dishwasher before leaving!), trash bags, etc. The woman was at first responsive and sent us a couple of desk lamps. She said she would contact an electrician, but then, after many unanswered phone calls and texts, we called the next person on the list. She was much more helpful and offered to bring the missing supplies: trash bags, toilet paper, etc.). We had already bought it all, so we declined. She nicely arranged for a discount on our stay. We had texted her photos of the issues, and that no doubt helped our case. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It has nice bones, a beautiful kitchen, yard and deck and is in a good location, but it was prepared as if we were crashing at a friend’s place and that friend hadn’t been expecting company… If you already have this booked, you should bring plenty of supplies, and likely something to drape over the couch.

Perfect Place for a Getaway
My husband and I were thrilled with this rental. We had a separate room for our daughter who is almost three to nap/sleep and a family room and back porch for us to relax on and listen to music and have a drink. Walking distance to a great breakfast spot and a grocery store. We walked too the pier one night (some parts didn’t have sidewalks) which was lovely! The house was clean and had stocked kitchen. We hope to come back soon.

Lovely Chatham Cottage
We stayed at 60 Snow Lane for a week this spring and loved it. The house is newly renovated, beautifully decorated, and the owners spared few details in its planning. It is very small, but the kitchen is spacious, with high end appliances, and the bath is lovely. The two queen bedrooms are tight, but the beds were super comfortable & made up with fresh new linens. Note that you can really only seat (3) in the Living Room, which was perfect for us but I wouldn't recommend more, unless you are close friends or family. We had a fantastic time there and would definitely return.
