La Maison d'Achille, demeure de famille au Pays de Herve

At the heart of the Grand Paysage in the Pays de Herve, our old farm welcomes you in the countryside, near the small village of Aubin-Neufchâteau. Its plush and family interior, its old-fashioned decor with period regional furniture will take you back to the warm atmosphere of ancient times. You will have lunch in good weather on the south facing terrace, you will have dinner at the corner of the hearth.
This is the taste and flavors that we prefer to introduce you to the Herve and traditions. We cook regional organic meals prepared in Circuit Court at 29 € / pers, 15 € up to 12 years. They are composed of an entrée, a dish and a dessert. As for breakfast, hearty and varied, the ingredients are produced by organic farmers from home. All the meals we serve are FAIR TRADE & BIO certified by Quality Partner (BE BIO-03). As for children, the large flower garden is theirs with its hide and seek corners and swings.
After a night of perfect calm, you may want to visit the Mosque town of Maastricht, the museums of Aix, or to taste the charms of the Ardent City. Or, go for a hike in the Pays de Herve, on foot or on horseback. The carousel is a few hundred meters away.
We welcome you in French, German and Romanian from 16h. For English, thank you to prevent!

Wir haben rechtzeitig 1 Nacht storniert und bekommen keine Rückmeldung von der Agentur, wann wir das Geld für die Zuviel bezahlte Nacht zurück bekommen. Von der Vermieterin bekamen wir eine positive Bestätigung. Sie hatte allerdings bei unserer Abreise noch kein Geld von der Agentur bekommen. Ich bitte um eine telefonische Rückmeldung von Mitarbeitern von Fewo!!!

We had a really pleasant stay. Although the furniture is a little outdated, everything was clean and comfortable, the housekeepers were very kind and the daily breakfast with ingredients from their own garden was great. We loved to sit down in the garden on evenings.

Bon accueil, chambres propres et chaleureuses, literies confortables et petit déjeuner parfait, un vrai régal, des produits fait maison, sucré ou salé, c'était délicieux.

Wirklichkeit ist leider nicht so schön wie die Anzeige.
Leider haben wir den Aufenthalt dort nicht genossen. Der Hof selbst ist ganz schön und auch die Zimmer haben ihren eigenen Charme. Leider war rund um das Hause eine grosse Baustelle, meterhohes Gras wo der Spielplatz sein sollte. Verrostete, schmutzige Draht Möbel, kein Garten hinter dem Haus sondern ein bissiger Hund den man nicht anfassen durfte und das was unsere Terrasse sein sollte ( stand auch in der Ausstattung) war ein Schuthaufen von einem 2 x 5 m Brennholz, der bis zum ersten Stock reichte. Das bedeutete mitten im schoensten Sommerwetter 100% drinnen sitzen. Auf die Frage wo der Kühlschrank ist ( wie im Inserat erwäehnt bei der Ausstattung) bekamen wir die Antwort- der ist ausgeliehen worden. Unsere Einkäufe mussten wir teilweise wegschmeissen. Es wurde uns auch keine Alternative angeboten. Schluessel zum Zimmer gab es nicht- Antwort war: ist wie zu Hause da braucht man keinen Schluessel. Und das schlimste an allem -in den zwei Doppel Betten konnte man nicht schlafen. Das eine Bett hatte eine viel zu grosse Matraze und lag darum schief im Doppelbett. Das andere Bett hatte nur eine ganz duenne Schaummatte als Matraze und war dewegen extrem hart. Am nächsten Morgen sind wir richtiggehend geflüchtet von diesem Hof. Den Urlaub haben wir uns davon nicht versauen lassen aber das war eine üble Erfahrung dort.
