My sisters and I had a great time for girls weekend in Grand Rapids. What a beautiful town with lots of stores and restaurants. Every place we went had very nice people. What a great inviting town. The home was very cozy and we loved the sitting on the front porch. The neighbors are very nice too! Highly recommend staying here?
I reached out to the owner several times with various questions and she responded very quickly. The house was in a great location and within walking distance from the town. The house was very clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was certainly enough space for the 5 of use staying. We enjoyed the porch and sat out every night to watch the traffic and people go by. The neighbors were very nice and helpful. We have already booked our next trip!
My sisters and I stayed for a long weekend. Within walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. The home was very clean and spacious. Also, the neighbors on both sides were very friendly. Nice to feel welcome!
We stayed here to take in a weekend of college Homecoming festivities. The home was beautiful and even better than the photos. We loved all the amenities. Definitely will be back.
We had a great stay for a family wedding…the house was 5 minutes from the venue and a few minutes from downtown. The location was absolutely perfect!
The house is decorated beautifully, we took advantage of the front porch and the back seating area.
I would highly recommend staying here!
If I could give this 10 stars for location, I would. It is walking distance from shops, restaurants, river, tow path, parks, fishing and much more. It is a short drive for activities in Toledo (we went to a minor league baseball game and almost went to the zoo). It is also a short drive from the Oakshade racetrack which if you have never been to a dirt track...you should try it out!
The property itself is extremely nice. The most comfortable beds I have ever had at a rental. There are tons of amenities and lovely decor. It is perfect for a family or a family with a few extras. We did not cook there as much as we wanted due to so much wandering around town but they had everything we would have needed. I totally suggest getting a milkshake at the new coffee shop...they are devine!
We loved sitting on the front porch enjoying the breeze, watching the cool cars drive by, and waving to the neighbors. We actually looked at a property in the area while we were in town..haha!
My family stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the character of this home so much. Very comfortable and great location! Absolutely wonderful owners to work with and answered every question we had. Great communication and very flexible. Will definitely stay here again!
My friends and I got together for the first time in nearly 20 years and this property was the perfect place for us to stay. It had plenty of space and nice amenities for us to enjoy. It is a short walk into town for food and ice cream as well as access to the path along the river. We spent time chatting on the front porch and backyard as well as the living room. The property owner was very responsive whenever I messaged her. I would highly recommend staying here and would go back again myself.
Home was cozy and inviting. Location couldn’t have been more perfect - close to the little historic downtown area with plenty to do and see outdoors (water, trails, parks, mill, etc) along with fun little shops and a small selection of restaurants. Would stay here again. Thank you!
Comfortable property close to downtown. No wash clothes in bathroom and wish the house had a clock in it but overall excellent stay and would definitely stay here again.
