Whether you hike, bike, snowshoe, ski, hunt, fish or just like to sit and listen to the creek flow, you will be filled with the wonders and beauty that greet you from the moment you arrive!
Situated at 8000ft elevation, Creekside Cabin has everything you need for a great day out and a cozy night in.
For those wishing to explore the 4 corners region the cabin is centrally located. The desert, high mountains, quintessential mountain towns, National Parks, and of course amazing skiing, are all within an easy drive.
The 1000 sq ft cabin has 2 bedrooms/2 baths and comes fully equipped. The owners live on the property and if questions arise, they are just a shout away!

Perfect place to relax

Our lives our extremely busy so this place was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The cabin is extremely well stocked and clean. The area is beautiful with hiking trails right out the door. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

One of our best cabin stays

Traci was very helpful before we arrived, making sure we had everything we needed - then checked in after we arrived to be sure we had no needs. The cabin was very clean and very well equipped. She also had a lot of reading material about things to do. There are a lot of hiking trails and scenic drives in the area, but the deck and stream below it made it pleasant to stay there as well. It was one of our better cabin stays and we will definitely return.

Quiet Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful next to the creek. Beautiful front and side porch, with outdoor seating and a grill. The master bed was very comfortable. The kitchen has all the utensils and cooking equipment you need. There are not any grocery stores or restaurants close by, so you have to plan accordingly. The town of Dolores has a grocery stores and restaurants, Rico has a couple places to eat and a great coffee shop. Two hiking trails are less than quarter mile away. We used these quite often. Our host was very nice greeting us when we arrived. We were very comfortable there and hope to go back soon.

Love this property

Imagine walking out of your cabin and walking 100 yards to three different trail heads. Or if you like, to sit on your deck and listen/watch a beautiful cooling stream running by while hummingbirds check you out as you enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Traci is a great host and the cabin is spotless, cozy, well stocked and with air conditioning/heating as needed. We’ve been there twice now and plan to visit again next year. There are many other great trails nearby.

Great mountain location, easy day trips to high desert sites

For us, the location of Creekside cabin was perfect. In the mountains, surrounded by National Forest, with a fast-flowing creek and hikes out the cabin door. Near, by southwest standards, to Mesa Verde, Canyons of the Ancients, Four Corners, Shiprock, and even Moab. Delores has a grocery store where we could get any supplies we needed, including excellent produce. Rico has a fine restaurant, the Prospector. We could have happily spent our nine days in the Delores to Rico corridor. Creekside Cabin is lovely, well-furnished, and well-maintained. Traci and Craig Craig were good hosts. They made sure that we were comfortable, answered our questions about hikes and restaurants, and made us feel at home. The only hitch in our stay was the weather. Record snow and a late spring made us briefly question our decision to visit in the first weeks of May. But spring came just in time. We could hike the trails near the cabin and enjoy the sunshine and daytime warmth of the high desert.

A Wonderful Experience

I stayed here with my partner and some friends for Christmas and New Years and we had an amazing time. The cabin was all decorated for Christmas which immensely added to the charm. Traci went above and beyond to make sure we all had a fun trip and even provided insights on what we could do around the area like jeep trails, snowshoeing, etc. I’ve never stayed somewhere that felt so much like a home away from home. We will definitely be returning next winter.

Perfect place to relax and get away.

The cabin was better than expected. We've stayed in many different cabins over the year and this one was by far the cleanest and most comfortable. To many good things to mention but appreciated all the little extras Traci provides. We loved sitting on the deck and hearing the creek while watching the humming birds. We look forward to staying here again!

Great house

House is located in a great spot to drive to the places you want to see. Whether it is Telluride or to Cortez, climbing a 14r or to dinner, this house is in the middle of all these places.

Cabin on the Creek.

It was one of the cleanest well kept properties we’ve stayed. Traci came and greeted us. Priest creek runs right through the property. The sound of running water at night was so nice. The property is right next to the National Forest and two trailheads. Loved it!

Beautiful, cozy cabin in the nature and next to the national forest trails.

We loved the cabin, everything was clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and had everything to make our stay cozy and comfortable. Right when you step out of the cabin you are at the national forest trails. The location was so beautiful and right in the middle of nature. We had such a great time at creekside cabin!

Perfect snowy get away

We needed a few days away with our labs. The property was perfect. Literally steps away from trails, clean, welcoming and exactly as advertised. It is slightly close to the road but it posed no concerns with noise or interruptions. The owners were amazing and available for whatever was needed. We will be back!

A Wonderful Winter Wonderland Escape

Absolutely enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holiday with our 2 dogs. It was a Winter Wonderland chocked full with snow, mountain views, and wild life. The trails located near the cabin afforded us even more beautiful scenery and wild life views. Traci and Craig were super friendly, helpful, and very hospitable. We were looking for a place that was quiet, secluded, and had great scenery. I am so glad to of found this little haven. It was exactly, what we were looking for after such a busy year. I can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for all your hospitality!

Hunting trip

We used the Creekside Cabin as our base camp as we chased (figuratively, because we never found them) elk around the surrounding trailheads. The cabin was a perfect, clean, comfortable place to come back to each night and Traci is a great host. The property is as advertised and reviewed. Wonderful place in beautiful country.

Creekside Cabin

We loved our stay here. The cabin was super comfortable and had a wonderful outside deck right on the creek. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Traci was super helpful with information about hiking trails and local services. We had a wonderful time.

Hospitality Plus

Creekside Cabin is not only a great location, but it is clean, beautifully landscaped, and full of charming touches that make staying here a joy. My husband and I, along with my Father-in-Law, stayed at Creekside Cabin based on its location - directly across from Priest Gulch RV Park where a few other family members were camped. When we arrived, the host not only communicated an easy check-in, but also made sure our questions were answered and some supplies restocked. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome basket with some supplies as well as some feed for the bird feeders! Nice touch! The coffee left for us was from a supplier that we did not know about. Everything we needed was supplied (aside from our groceries) oils, seasonings, soap, etc. The bedding and towels were luxurious and clean. The cabin has a wonderful layout for a small family. Everyone had their own space but the common areas are cozy (in a good way!) the kitchen had fridge, dishwasher, range, oven and all manner of coffee making equipment. The location is close to great hiking, fishing, and short drives to other attractions like Durango, Cortez and Mesa Verde. Traci was a very gracious host and I was surprised at the thought she has put into the extras like deck furniture, nightlights, and extra bedding for the chilly nights. Very welcomed. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Top notch all the way, clean, comfortable and relaxing!

Great cabin!

Beautiful location next to hiking trails. The house was well stocked with thoughtful touches like coffee and fruit when we arrived. Traci was an excellent host - helpful and generous and very nice. Absolutely recommend this place!

Craig and I have been married over 20 years. We are excited to have finally found this property to call our home. Our quest house is the rental. We are a quiet semi-retired couple who love nature and what it provides with each changing season. My favorite thing in the world is his laugh, Infectious! We love to eat great food and sit on the swing watching the creek or the hummingbirds as entertainment! Being joyful and meeting everyone in there Divine Nature is our service to the world.
