Anniversary

Up on arrival noticed hot tub not working & empty. Took 3 calls to finally get a ticket filled out, finally the next day property manager contacted us & send cleaning lady out to fix it. Luckily we did get to enjoy one nice evening in the tub before our departure that next morning . We did get a 45.00 refund from hot tub. Cabin nice but saw a roach on toilet, & the following morning a roach on the counter. Bed very comfortable

Great place to stay!

The cabin is beautiful! Sleeps 6 but probably best for 4 or less. Feels very secluded when on the back decks, but still within walking distance to the strip on the aquarium side.

Great Cabin

Other than having a slight hiccup with the checkin process, our stay was wonderful! The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The walk into town is a bit of a hike, but the weather was nice so we didn’t mind. We would definitely stay here again!

Look closely at the photos.

The inside of the house was clean, and neat. Had all the modern amenities you could want. There are apartments all around, and active construction next door. You are close(walking distance) from downtown Gatlinburg. Saw a bear within a half hour of arriving. No creek access, which it clearly shows in the first photo(you should really change that) but, overall we had a good stay.

Good experience

Overall, we enjoyed the cabin. Location was great and walkable to downtown. The home comfortably fit our family of four. We even saw a couple family of bears literally walking right next to our house twice! we did not use the hot tub because of the weather, so I couldn’t comment on that. I will say the home needs a thorough spring cleaning. Lots of dust on the walls and blinds. The outside needs a good power washing as well.

Looks are deceiving

Not clean, no protective covers on mattresses or pillows. Blood stains on pull out couch mattress . Foam toppers on both beds had disgusting stains on them, the pillows had nasty stains that looked like urine stains on them, bed sheets were old and coming apart were coming apart, very dusty, water left in the Keurig. , all this was reported to the manager and no one offered to bring out another mattress for the pull out, so my kids slept in the floor on a pallet. Construction going on next door that was never told about and the trash picked up at 3am. I would not recommend this property to anyone. I have never stayed anywhere that was this filthy. I have pictures and will post them this afternoon so people can run. . Do not stay at this cabin!!

Clean Unique Chalet - Walk to town!

New chalet with designer finishes. You can easily walk to town along a flat paved sidewalk. This home is tucked away from the noise, but close to all the action. A nice grill and fire pit are located creekside and private for guests use only. Comfortable beds and a warm hot spa and fireplace are perfect for the mountain cold!

Great cabin within walking distance of Gatlingburg

Beautiful updated cabin that is really cozy within walking distance of Gatlinburg. Enjoy the sound of the running water from the creek from the front of the cabin, views from the jacuzzi on the back deck, or jump in the car and be in the national forest within 5 mins. Great little get away for 4-6 people!

Cool cabin great location

Everything was great, perhaps supplying coffee would be nice. However the trash truck pickup EVERY morning at 3am was a nuisance. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot.

Disappointed

The front picture of the house looked nothing like it actually was. . From the pictures it showed the house in front of a creek that’s the reason we rented this particular one. No creek just a road. Fire pit is next to an apartment we’re people were hanging out. My husband and I are over 60 and it was just us two so I didn’t take out damages insurance but. They added 45.00 on my bill for damages. Also was charged 45 for the hot tub . The good side was the house was clean and you can walk to town. Pricey for what is was .

Property suffers from extreme noise

The cabin is as pictured. But the photo of the building does not show the parking lot to the left of the cabin where a large dumpster is. Another dumpster is across from that dumpster. The City of Gatlinburg empties those dumpsters each morning from anywhere from 4:45 am to 6 am. The NOISE floods the cabin as the dumpsters abut the cabin even with all windows closed which will wake most people. I called the City sanitation department which helped one day but the city's position is they are exempt from their own noise ordinance. The cabin has no dishwasher so you need to do dishes. We brought a kid table so the kids had a place to eat. The fire pit area is not usable as there is no firewood or chairs to use. Further, this area is a BEAR crossing area as the bears come down from the woods to those two large dumpsters. My boys had a bear right next to them as they sat on the porch. I had one next to me as I sat in the hot tub. The hot tub water IS NOT changed between renters but instead I presume more prominent tablets are added to the floating dispenser. I of course looked past the water issue as that is why we rented this place for this added benefit and we were already there. I tried connecting with management but there was no answer or on one occassion it seemed a computer answered. Overall ithe cabin is nice but for the higher cost per night you can find cabins without the noise.

This cabin chalet has all the rustic looks/ feels that you could ask for. The full front porch with rocker chair say sit a spell and listen to Baskins Creek across the way while enjoying a drink if you wish. The moment you walk in, you're welcomed with knotty pine walls and an open space to the upstairs and the beautiful stone fireplace that's gas fired at the turn of a dial timer. Nice little kitchen to have a meal if desired The master bedroom with a king-size bed, along with spacious bathroom that has a sink made from stone mounted to a wood slab supported by tree limb legs. The full- sized shower is a walk in , and is lined with natural stone tile on the walls, and stone pebble floor (messages the feet). The upstairs loft has a fooze- ball table and board games to occupy rainy day time. There is also a full bed and bath upstairs. From the upstairs deck, you can see some of downtown Gatlinburg. The downstairs has room to move around and to soak away your worries in the hot tub while watching the moon rise over the mountains. Part of the property is across the street with a grill, stone patio, table, and a fire pit, all along the creek. The best feature is that it's located just far enough away from the strip, but only a 5-6 minute walk to downtown; which will save you in parking. Truly a great experience.
